Hey RKHolcomb WELCOME another Vancouverite here...might you be interested in Joining the PDX MINI Club?? PM me if you are...I am the Club Promotions Coordinator!! 
We just had our 2011 PDX MINI Club Kick-Off Party last night...it was a blast. We have a lot of great runs planned this year and also do all kinds of social events, check out PDXMINI.org or our Meetings are held at Izzy's Restaurant in Beaverton on the 2nd Tuestday of the Month @ 6:30PM hope to se you there!!

Hi back! I am from the Vancouver area as well. Well, to be more exact from Woodland. I went to high school there and lived there for 14 years. Then I went to college in Vancouver to which the parking was for lack of a better phrase, an absolute joke (arriving 2 hours early just to find parking)... I always envied the MINI who got the hard to fit into spots! Anyway, welcome!

Thanks for the warm welcome, RJ I will be getting a hold of you about the PDX club, Torri91 that college had the same problem when I went there in 1978!
As for mods...all cosmetic, windows tinted, working on painting the chrome bits to match the car. I told the wife I would "try" to leave it pretty much stock...it has been two years though
