Waiting for my Countryman

I must check 8 times a day to see if my MINI has moved from the parking lot outside the plant in Gratz, Austria. This has turned in to an obsession. It would appear that the waiting period for the car to make it to port is about a week to 10 days. Does anyone know?

I'm waiting for a silver with black roof, entirely black inside

Patience is a virtue, are you feeling virtuous yet? Hope it is on it's way soon.

Timing of my countryman

Congrats! I'm also awaiting delivery of my countryman

My experience

On Sunday Jan 30th the website updated my status to "Awaiting Transit."

Then, like you, I felt like I was waiting forever

On Saturday Feb 12th the website updated my status to "En Route". I was able to get the boat's name from my dealer, and apparently it left Southampton, Englad around Feb 9th.

So that's about 10 days from the moment it was marked Awaiting Transit on the site to when it actually got on a boat, but it took another 3 days for them to update the site

Once on the boat, if you get the boat's name you can track the boat.

So hang in there! The wait will be worth it. You are close!

Waiting for the boat.

Thanks for your insight. I'll bet my mini is tapping his foot waiting for that boat!
