I have a production number! I ordered my first Mini and I can't wait. This will be my first "sporty type" car. The kids are grown, now it's time for the wife and I to play!
We ordered a Cosmic Blue 'S' All4 with black top and silver 17 " 5 spoke wheels. All black interior with leather lounge seats. Chrome accents inside and out will nice!
Xenon lights, sunroof, & Harmon Kardon stereo.

A big thanks to everyone on this site! It has been quite educational. You have made me more confident in making my choices on options. Looking forward to years of sharing and learning with you more experienced Mini owners.

Congrats! I can't wait for pictures. I am very interested in following other's experiences with the Countryman. I would never part with my hatchback as my fun 3rd car, but would be interested in a Countryman as a daily driver. Happy motoring!

 

Got my VIN # and have moved to Awaiting Transport! This is where it starts to get hard huh? I do not know how long it typically takes to load onto a ship. Besides keep bugging my MA, who is always busy these days, how do
I cope?

 

It can take a while. Mine sat I think maybe two weeks after being done getting on a ship. I FINALLY get mine tomorrow.

 

Spend a lot of time here .
Start stockpiling ideas and mods (my dining room table is going to be covered with boxes before either of our 2 new MINIs arrive).

Not as far as I know. Still says "scheduled for production." But if the estimated completion date of March 8 is accurate, then I would think it would go into production within a day or two, right?

So far, all cosmetic and maintenance stuff. I ordered an orbital buffer and all new detailing stuff from Octane Guy's shop. I have mostly stuff to black out all the chrome on order and am looking into an exhaust for the MCS, also some coco floormats. For the CM mostly graphics at this point.

Naw mini hasn't gone into production yet but I can't believe you haven't been looking at mods for your mini yet.. For you you should be looking for mostly interior mods cause you'll still be under strict warranty

Woo Hoo! Got an e-mail from my MA this morning with shipping news. My All4 has been Loaded onto the Grand Legacy, which left port on 3/5. I am told that we have an ETA of 4/5 in California! This is earlier than I had expected.

Does anyone know where in California it docks? And how long is typical before it would arrive in Seattle?
I guess I had better get to choosing my 4 inch exhaust tips, so I can get them installed as soon as it gets here.
