Am I going crazy..
#26
My salesman, er Motoring Advisor, emailed me mine today at around noon, so basically three days after my order. I then registered with the Mini owner's lounge and now am waiting for the next step. Looks like you ordered yours one day after me, so I would think you should get yours either tomorrow (if they do that on Saturdays) or on Monday.
By the way, your MCS sounds sharp. Not sure I've ever seen one in Black with Silver stripes. I'd love to see a pic. Makes my Red/white sound boring

RDemo2, go to miniusa.com and register in the owner's lounge.(Bottom right of home page has "Owner Resources"). Set up your account using your production number. Then you should see "Where's Your Baby?", you can see the basics here. Do not panic about your status or what the website says regarding your order, it is always behind and may even have the wrong color or type listed. Then you can call 1-866-ASK MINI (they are open until 9pm est) to get an update on your car. You can listen to the automated response, or stay on the line and talk to a MINI rep.
This will get you started, but you need to read the sticky in 1st Gear that atlchica already mentioned.
Have fun!

You don't even know how happy that makes me. I always love having unique things. Thts y I went with the configuration route cause I absolutely hate going down the road and pullin up next to my cars exact twin. It's depresses me inside. And red and white isn't boring. As long as you like it nothing else matters. Oh yeah and I would love to put a pic of the miniusa configuration in my sig but I can't seem to find out how to get a small pic of it and how to insert it??? :-/

Well after having it for a month I'm mist likely am going to paint it a matte black with red pinstripes from front to back kinda like the jcw version has.. I haven't seen that yet and that way if I need to hid from any persueres I could just flick off my lights and be veritably invisible at night

And I'm where you were at the start of the thread... "on order", awaiting production. Ahhhhh!!! At least seeing other people's pics of their new cars gives me a little bit of joy (along with the jealousy!) lol So please post some pics when you have her this/ next week!!

@darthhen, I see you're also from the bay area. It looks like our babies (together with lithium77's) we will be on the same vessel, UNDINE, which is scheduled to set sail on April-1st. ETA at Port Hueneme VDC is April-23rd.

You folks are killing me! Too funny.
You also remind me of 2004 when I too was waiting "with visions of sugarplums".
Worth the wait though - a keeper. Still with me 152k miles later, and race ready.
The Works car showed up, but the Works didn't. So a couple of weeks after I accepted delivery I got the call and returned Gollum to Mini of Peabody for the installation of all that extra horsepower.
I tell you the truth so help me - when my car rolled into the bay for the major surgery, the odometer was at exactly 666.
Anyway, thank you for reminding me of how much fun all that agony and release was way back when.
I wish you as many merry miles as I've had, and more.
Cheers,
Charlie
