Just put my order for my new 2011 mini on sat and ever since then all of time is just wrong.. Everything is in slow motion. the anticipation is killing me. up is down. down is up.. this is the worst feeling of my life.. im jsut thinking about going into a drug induced comma for 4-6 weeks
Yep, when I ordered my first one in '05 my anthem became The Ramones song, "I Wanna Be Sedated" .
Hard to believe, but it's even worse this time. I called last night and mine was in paint yesterday, next comes transit, the absolute slowest thing e.v.e.r.

Yes, it is really difficult the first few weeks, (and the last few weeks as well!) but at least you are on the east coast so it won't take 8-12 weeks like it does for west coasters. You will be motoring soon!
I too am having the same thing happen. My Red, MC-S, Labuyo, is on the good ship California Highway and is scheduled to be in Brunswick, Ga on the 23rd. Then VPC, then transport to Pensacola, then phone call to schedule pick-up . But it's only the 17th. Each day is like a week. My therapist isn't helping either!
Its fun tracking the progress on the MINIUSA website....it is under the Owners Lounge. We started singing the musical tune around the house. My wife new when I was looking because of the song. We thought it was funny when it was "partying" on the boat coming over. Try it if you haven't.
Hi guys, from someone who ordered 3 years ago Saturday (19th) I can tell you that even then the wait was a Killer, staying up 'til all hours of the night, getting a pic. of my MINI traversing the Panama Canal...I waited 8 Weeks!!
Good Luck...like I've told everyone else...it was so worth the wait!!
RDemo, there's a great sticky thread at the top of the 1st Gear forum about how to track your MINI. It has answered almost all of my questions about what to expect.
