March incentives

Anyone heard what incentives/option credits/financing MINI will be offering in March? There's nothing on the MINIUSA website yet.

I'm figuring my MCS will be delivered either at the end of March or early April, and I'm hoping the incentives match up with something I ordered.

Email from my MA indicated 0.9% for 60 mos. + package savings similar to Feb. I am not taking this as gospel until I see it in print. If so, I am a happy camper. My MCS should be here later this week or early next week.

Can anyone confirm this? Inquiring minds what to know.

That would be awesome, but I'm starting to doubt mine will actually be here before the end of March.

Looks like March is a very good month to take delivery of a new MINI Hardtop, Convertible or Clubman. I hope everyone that's waiting doesn't have to wait too long. I guess I am lucky. I am told my new MCS is on the transport truck heading my way. Hopefully it's safely in my garage by the weekend.

I hope you're right, but I talked to MA today and here's what he said: "This is that uncertain/waiting period I was talking about. We are still waiting to be grabbed into production. It has an estimated for late this week/early next week, so not too much longer. Once it is in production then everything is seamless. So we are still on schedule with everything."

According to his original schedule, the car would be here in April. He said it would have needed to be one of the fastest builds possible to be here in March, and it doesn't look like that was the case.

take advantage now

I think, with gas prices jumping, Mini will not have to offer incentives. no maker of small cars will. Incentives will only be offered on the big stuff

Have your MA do your credit application now to lock in the 0.9%

You can't lock in the option credits though =(

If my mini isn't here by the end of march I'm signing the contract and stuff at the end of march to lock in the 0.9 apr rate

I don't believe that's possible under the terms of the deal. I believe it says you must take delivery by March 31.

March incentives from web site

If you feel computer competent, you can execute the following one-liner:

Code:
elinks -dump \
http://www.miniusa.com/lease_loan_promotion.jsp?dl=financialServices \
| sed -e '1,/ --------/d' -e '/ --------/,$d' > promotion-$(date +%F)

Hello folks.. No matter if your MINI will be here this month, next month, or the month afterwards.. Have your MA do your credit application THIS MONTH to lock in the rate for 60 days from the end of this month. You do not have to do all the paperwork this month if it's locked in. If your MA asks you to sign paperwork at the end of this month and your MINI will arrive within a week or so you could do him/her a favor by signing early.

You just can't lock the option credit.

you can still lock in the 0.9% APR. Your credit app can be done way before the mini arrives. Heck, it can be done before you even order it.

also "arrived at dealer" does not literally mean "on the lot"

My MA also said they can't lock in a rate until the car has been delivered. However, he did say there's something called a "rate lock" that extends the rate for about 10-14 days depending on the month and the program for that month.

I'm pretty sure you can submit one through MINIUSA but I'd try to do it through your MA so all the numbers are correct for sure.

re-read the first sentence and ask your MA if that makes sense. Can't lock in until you've taken the car? That's not a lock.

If your MA is telling you something different than what I am telling you, then maybe you should call mini finance directly at 866-MINI-4-ME. That way you can find out about the 60 day rate lock straight from the authoritative voice in the matter.

Rates are not always lockable but they are this time.
