I have an '06 Cooper S and my seat will not recline, so what's the deal with yours. i am very interested.

Will the seat bend forward when pressing the rear seat access lever on the outboard side of the seat? Or is it completely stuck?

 

I know it won't recline, but will it at least move forward if you push lever on inside near handbrake? There may fix for this, but there used to be a MINI salvage yard in Sun Valley called MINI World http://www.yelp.com/biz/mini-world-inc-sun-valley I would check Marketplace here on NAM though.
