My first mod was swapping out the OEM wheels and tires. Then, I had the DoS CAI and WMW Performance BOV installed.

Congrats and welcome. You may find that modding your mini can become a real addiction, along with driving it.
My 1st mod was swapping out the stock antenna for a stubby antenna.

My first mod was a DDM ram air intake. I lost count around mod #20. Watch out - it's a slippery slope.

Honestly, the biggest OMG moment with the AP was after initially installing the stage1+FMIC tune vs. the stock tune. The car really came alive with loads more torque. When I added a downpipe and stepped up to the stage 3 tune, the power and torque certainly jumped even higher but the difference seemed less dramatic than going from stock to stage 1. They offer two different throttle maps, one with the stock settings and one with a more linear throttle in sport mode. With stage 1 I liked the stock throttle better. It's a little twitchy but that's the fun of it. With the stage3 tune, the linear "tps" map makes controlling all the power a little easier.
