It's crazy how time slows down when a MINI is in the works This is my third time through the waiting game, and it's gotten no easier! I'm waiting on an MCS, Chili Red/Black, Manual, enough goodies to make it too expensive but hard to resist
Oh, well.... Good to see a couple of fellow calendar watchers
Yes, the wait is definitely painful- but its also kinda nice to have something to look forward to. And certainly worth the wait to get the car just the way I want it. This will be my 2nd MINI, but my first order. I can barely contain myself from telling strangers about my new baby on the way!

I hear that. All the Clubmans on the lot had *almost* everything I wanted. I would have had to sacrifice one thing or another for immediate gratification.
My first MINI was a custom order. Was built week 18, 2005, completed May 8, loaded on the Procyon Leader on May 18, and delivered (NM) on June 19. At which point my MA was probably relieved that I wouldn't be calling every day :D.

When I placed the order my MA mentioned that it was scheduled for 04/04 but that since a customer's name was not on it he might be able to get it bumped up.
Its probably too early but here is the list of ships headed to Port Hueneme from Southampton in April:
SOUTHAMPTON 01/04/2011 PORT HUENEME, CA 23/04/2011 UNDINE
SOUTHAMPTON 12/04/2011 PORT HUENEME, CA 04/05/2011 MADAME BUTTERFLY
SOUTHAMPTON 26/04/2011 PORT HUENEME, CA 18/05/2011 TOLEDO
The Madame Butterfly looks possible but the Toledo is more likely.

I Think WW allows customers to track by VIN (windows only ). Go to www.2wglobal.com and Look under Customer Centre for track and trace. Enter the VIN as the customer reference #.
Nothing either. Oh well. April 1 is this Friday, I hope that's enough time for them to get it on the ship, assuming there's room. Oh man, the wait is already killing me!!!!

Your MINI will probably be on the Undine but there is always the possibility it may get on a NYK ship (http://www2.nykline.com/) like my first MINI.
866-ASK-MINI still doesn't have a confirmed prod. week for me.
oldsbear- if Molly 2 now has a VIN, does that mean your production was bumped up as well?
Have you talked to a customer service rep? Their information is more up to date. My MINI's automated status is scheduled for production and the OL says on order.

The OL says Molly2 is scheduled for production. The automated voice at ASK MINI says the estimated completion date is April 5. The live gal at ASK MINI yesterday (3/28) said Molly2 is not in the body shop yet. I assume we are at the parts-gathering stage and approaching the body shop.

Cool! The automated status just went to "in production" for my MINI as well. Estimated completion date is April 6. 6 days before the Madame Butterfly departs .
