Otto's Mini - West Chester, PA 3/18/2011.

The people at Otto's were great and I really appreciated their work and honesty in this whole process. Very different buying a used car long distance but they made it an easy process for me.

Here I am getting ready to leave on my drive back to Katy, TX.:



I left West Chester at about 11:00 on Saturday the 18th. Little later than I would have preferred. I drove 12 hours to Chattanooga, TN and stayed the night. On Sunday I got up and left at 7:00 a.m. and arrived home at 7:00 so exactly 24 hours of driving and 1,578 miles. This included stops for gas (4), stretches and bio breaks. I averaged 71 mph and 31 mpg. The car performed flawlessly.

Great fun all in all.

 

I usually do not like white cars, but OH MAN, that one is GORGEOUS! Love the stripes!!!

 

It was not my first choice either. However I do like that it is not that bright white that is almost blue. It is more of a cream color. I like the way the stripes were done too. I have not seen another with the stripes like that.

Nice! I'm not surprised at how long you quested for that beauty! I was set on doing the SAME thing to get mine! I couldn't believe my point of purchase was only 3 miles away! I almost envy your journey! Like I said I would have done the same. Let us motor in our 09 pepper white JCW!
