Help Me Settle on a Color!

I change my mind every day on color combo and I want to get it set so I can finally stop annoying my dealer.

As you can see below I'm ordering the JCW package so I'm limited to the JCW Colors: Pepper White, Chili Red, Midnight Black, Laser Blue, White Silver, British Racing Green 2, Eclipse Gray.

I saw the Eclipse Gray the first day at the dealer and liked it out of what I saw on the lot, then I got word of Laser Blue and spec'd a Laser Blue/B at my order.

Girlfriend HATED it. Reluctantly went back to Eclipse Gray, couldn't get black challenge wheels for the Laser Blue anyway, thought Eclipse Gray looked great with silver challenge wheels so I had EG/B.

AND thennnnnn.. I saw the WC50... I heard the BRG2 was pretty close to the WC50s color to the demise of WC50 owners sooo I wanted BRG2/W and planned on getting my Challenge wheels powdercoated, getting some perforated white vinyl for the sunroof.

I think the only colors I wouldn't go for are White Silver and Pepper White

Sooo..

Laser Blue/B
Eclipse Gray/B
BRG2/W
Midnight Black/MB
MB/W
Chili Red/B
CR/W

I WANT ONE OF EVERY COLORRR!!

Based on the specs below... fire away!

I'm heading to the dealer tomorrow afternoon to walk around the lot or look are paint samples.

Oh yea, I don't care what the gf thinks anymore, she'll get over it

If you're getting the JCW then the color just gotta be Chile Red/B! I can't even imagine a JCW in any other color.

and this picture had me wanting the laser blue

Well... in that case you can get any color you want! All I know is that black is very hard to keep looking clean.

Hahha alright mbu, yes I agree, I have a blacked out lifted big tired Xterra, but that is meant to be dirty and I don't clean it very often, and when I do clean it the little scrapes from branches are soooo easy to spot

AXO that is the same picture I was looking at for eclipse gray, along with this one:

I think you'll be able to make a much more educated decision once you've seen them on the lot tomorrow. Personally, I think the BRGII is incredible in person, so my vote would be BRGII/W... awesome classic color combo.

Yeah, I think that will be the key to figuring out which color you like best. Pictures are great, but in person is still much better.

If I was going to re-order today and do a JCW, I'd go with the BRG2/W. I went by the dealer the other day to pick up my mirror caps and there was a BRG2 JCW in the parking lot. It was stunning. It also had the green leather interior which was beautiful.
I just love the new BRG2 and it was one of my 2 final choices on my new '11 (my '06 was PW). I ended up flipping a coin since I couldn't decide.

I don't have a JCW, just a regular MCS, but before we ordered, I wanted Blue, wife wanted yellow, so we settled on Red -- to match our other car, a Honda Element.

NavyNUKE,

I don't think you can go wrong with any color that Mini has to offer. You just have to goto the dealership and see what's available.

My opinion is that black and white colors are harder to keep looking clean. But then again, seems like pepper white and black roof is a popular choice.

Chili red, I see too many chili reds out there, but of course not the JCW models.

I would've gotten the BRG2 but I already have a '99 Tacoma that's green as well. Of course not the same exact tone/shade as BRG2 but it's just too close.

I would get the laser blue...but of course i'm biased.

Heres another vote for the green. That was my first choice color, but the only one they had was manual and I really wanted the automatic this time.

This is YOUR car-- not your girlfriend's car! Trust me- don't end up like I did with my first MINI- my husband didn't like the Chili Red and I ended up driving a Solid Gold/Black that I just couldn't 100% love. This time, he did it right and ordered everything I WANTED and kept out of it.

If I could have gotten Laser Blue for my Cooper, I would have grabbed it in a heartbeat!!! I saw one just the other day and it literally took my breath away as it raced down the highway.

LASER BLUE FOR YOU!!!!

Although my MA e-mailed me this morning and said it might not be possible if my MINI has gone into production already, checked the Owner's Lounge and that still says "On Order" Hmm.

And 1-866-ASK-MINI Says "Your Car is Scheduled for Production, with no confirmed production date."

The status from Owner's Lounge is very delayed. So it's tough to say what the real status is.

I vote Laser Blue for you, again.

DneprDave unfortunately is incorrect.

British RACING Green is the fastest colour ( by 14% ) .

Best of luck on whatever you decide.

One of the best pieces of advice i ever received on a car was to get the color you want. after all you are spending ALOT of money and if there is a color that makes you smile every time you see it that is what you should get.

my current car is the wrong shade of green, if it was the correct one i would not be so eager to get rid of it.

if you can get the cars color side by side make the choice that way.

I was trying to decide between hyper blue and laser blue (i really like both colors). so i had a drink container of the hyper surrounded by blue m&ms for laser and i looked at similar colors out on the road. one color spoke to me more and if i buy the wrong color i will be dissapointed every time i see the right one.

your car, your money, your color

NavyNUKE, you can't see this but, I'm doing one of those Jedi mind trick hand wave at you, and I'm saying: "You want Laser blue."

Laser blue can take turns harder and faster too!!
