Ordered my R56. Now, I wait.

I've been building my dream car at least once a month for years on the mini website. Finally, I'm in, head-first. Ordered my CR MCS last night with the following:
  • John Cooper Works package (DTC, JCW aero kit and challenge spoke wheels, as well as red stitching on the steering wheel, shift **** and e-brake)
  • Premium package
  • Xenon headlights with black housings
  • Bluetooth/iPod integration
I plan to red-out a lot of chrome, starting with the ring around the headlights. Beyond that, I'm not sure at this point. I'm pumped. Just not looking forward to the 6-7 week wait.

Looks great. The wait sucks... Should be worth it, though.

The JCW Package is the main reason I did the factory order. There was nothing available in the region with it. The dealer quoted me $3200 for parts and labor on the body kit alone which, let's be honest, isn't really worth it.

Nice looking MINI. I remember the wait.... horrible, but you'll be pleased you got exactly what you wanted.

Thanks. Even with only two days hindsight and weeks of waiting to go, I'm really glad I didn't "settle" for anything on the lot.
