Hi from New Hampshire!

I'm Lisa and I bought my 2011 Cooper S (Eclipse Gray, black top) in October last year. I got 2 months of fun-filled driving out of it before having to put it up for the NH winter and now I'm out and driving!! Never had a Mini before; absolutely love it, and have had no issues over the 2500 miles I've put on it except for one little weird radio display item. I hope to meet some people from New Hampshire and Vermont - I live near Hanover and see Minis on the road, always wondering who their owners are! I am somewhat interested in rallying and other kinds of autosports, too!

Oh thank you for that!!! I will definitely put in a vacation request for those days... I had heard about Minis on Top but had forgotten all about it until you mentioned it, and that's very timely information!! :-)

Awesome! My new MINI is due mid to late May, so I couldn't ask for better timing. Me and my GF have already put in the time to go. Hope to see you up there!

That's awesome, now I'm just trying to find someone to go with me... I don't know that I'd want to go to something like that all by myself! Congratulations on your purchase-to-be!! I absolutely love mine!

Spring is such a tease though isn't it...

Try http://www.ner.org for information regarding the SCCA New England Region rally program -- and we also run an autocross or two at the VIP parking lot at NHMS (Laconia). Novices are most welcome, and if you give me notice I'll do whatever I can to make you feel welcome and have fun should you wish to try the latter.

Cheers,

Charlie

Thank you, Charlie!! Yes, spring IS such a tease!! and I think owning a Cooper S is only going to help that!!

I will definitely keep you posted and thank you for your offer! autocross is something I've always wanted to try. I did the Team O'Neil winter driving school a couple of years ago with another vehicle, and at that point the bug for driving sports kind of bit me, but I'm a bit of a chicken in trying new things!
