Hi from New Hampshire!
I'm Lisa and I bought my 2011 Cooper S (Eclipse Gray, black top) in October last year. I got 2 months of fun-filled driving out of it before having to put it up for the NH winter and now I'm out and driving!! Never had a Mini before; absolutely love it, and have had no issues over the 2500 miles I've put on it except for one little weird radio display item. I hope to meet some people from New Hampshire and Vermont - I live near Hanover and see Minis on the road, always wondering who their owners are! I am somewhat interested in rallying and other kinds of autosports, too!

Try http://www.ner.org for information regarding the SCCA New England Region rally program -- and we also run an autocross or two at the VIP parking lot at NHMS (Laconia). Novices are most welcome, and if you give me notice I'll do whatever I can to make you feel welcome and have fun should you wish to try the latter.
Cheers,
Charlie

Thank you, Charlie!! Yes, spring IS such a tease!! and I think owning a Cooper S is only going to help that!!
I will definitely keep you posted and thank you for your offer! autocross is something I've always wanted to try. I did the Team O'Neil winter driving school a couple of years ago with another vehicle, and at that point the bug for driving sports kind of bit me, but I'm a bit of a chicken in trying new things!
