I just talked to my MA, OL says my delivery date is today, MA says they'll have it Wednesday but need time to prep it, so I can pick it up Friday (Friday the 13th ) or Saturday, it's looking like it's going to be Saturday so I can get my mom up here to cosign the papers.

Congratulations!
I was thinking about the Friday the 13th thing earlier. Depending on how long it takes my dealer to prep the car I might be picking it up on Friday.

WHAT!!!!???!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

So it takes them more than 1 day to pre-delivery inspections? That's too long. My MA was able to get his guys to do everything in 2 hours, as soon as the car was off the truck at 3PM! But I told him that I wasn't going to be able to make it that day anyways, so don't rush. So it doesn't take that long. I'm sure Mini has an official checklist of things to do: take the blocks off, enable computer, wash, clean, check for damages...blob...blob.

He told me they could do it in 2 hours and usually do if someone walks in and wants something off their lot that day but with custom orders they like to take their time and get everything done. Which I'm fine with because honestly I wouldn't be able to have it until Saturday anyway because of that damn situation with the co-signing.

Congratulations folks! I suspected that adding the driving lights which are installed at the VDC was going to slow down my delivery. No information at OL on delivery and my MA is supposed to call me when he knows as I am arranging delivery of non-run flats at the tire store. I will spend the time arranging an installer for the KONI FSDs, Hotchkiss Sway Bar, and lower motor mount bushings. More to look forward to. Post pictures if you are able. I am looking forward to seeing your cars.

This should be a very exciting week for many of us! According to OL, my CM should be delivered today. I have yet to hear from my MA, but I will call him later to confirm a delivery date!

I agree with Fatebender - definately post those pictures!! I will post as soon as I pick mine up.

Where on the OL does it say when the car should be delivered? Mine just says that it is at the VDC. But my dealership is less than 20 miles away from the VDC so it should not have alot of travel time.

If you click on "review order detail" you'll find it listed there.

Me too. I hope it didn't change for '11 cause I wanted that trim to be black on my car.

Agreed, it's one of the big reasons I even wanted the AeroKit.

It looks like the little cover for where the front tow hook mounts is missing in your bumper. Make sure you ask for it if its gone.

If it turns out that they no longer come with the black grill for 2011 or whatever...you can get the JCW black grill from outmotoring for like 70 dollars I think.

I really wish I had an aero kit on mine. Funny..my car was on porgy too and my dealership is about a 30 minute drive from the NY port. Still havn't heard that it is in yet.
