We're on PORGY!

Not sure if there's any more than 2 of us on PORGY but if there is let's get a roll call going!

I know so far

- NavyNUKE - BRGII/W MCS - New York
- Sammer - PW MCc - New York
- Wileenreber - SB MCCm - New York
- Fatebender - HB/B MCS - New York
- joely0318 - LW/B ALL4 - New York

4/26 - Southampton, UK
5/03 - Halifax, NS
5/05 - New York, NY, USA
5/10 - Brunswick, GA, USA
5/11 - Charleston, SC, USA

Porgy also happens to be my favorite kind of fish!

I didn't know it was a fish either. I thought it was named for the Gershwin opera, "Porgy and Bess".
It looks like Wileenreber's CM is on the Porgy too.

I can see that, a keeper porgy is like half the size of a keeper flounder though if I remember correctly.

(I haven't been fishing in... yearsssssssssss)

Porgy is out of range of marinetraffic.com, onto the silent abyss of the Atlantic ocean..

Sailwx hasn't updated Porgy's position since last night... see you in Halifax!

I AM BAAAACK, maybe

MA reported that I was on the docks and not the boat, OL has me at the docks for awhile, Customer Support at ASK-MINI can only track to the docks and has me there. The automated ASK-MINI just changed my status to IN TRANSIT. So, I am somewhere. I have not located my VIN though in the cargo check. It is a good sign that you are "out of touch" with your cars for me because that could mean that my "bad" influence has them out partying with me and letting loose.

And yes I think Porgy (called Scup around here sometimes) is a terrific tasting fish. It almost has more bones than meat. I remember my Aunt pan frying them with onions at the shoreline and I would eat them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I also thought it was a reference to Porgy and Bess! Anyway, on the sailwx, not much movement, last check in was the 26th. Lets see some progress!!
I am very eager for the new Surf Blue CM to arrive at my Phila dealer.....

Hey guys, if any of you are up at 0800 Halifax time tomorrow and want to see the Porgy pull in to Halifax, I found a few webcams

Dock
http://www.novascotiawebcams.com/hal...#axzz1LCXF0Lwe

There's a link for harbor entrance in there too!

I don't expect marinetraffic to show the Porgy before you can see it on the Harbor Entrance cam

Wow! I'm looking at the web cams from Halifax and I see a ship but it looks like it's yellow.
I guess it's in a location where they don't have a web cam set up.

Where did that come from? The customs release info.?

The Porgy is still docked in Halifax near Marginal Road in Halifax harbour.

I think it was waiting for an unloading dock to be available. So tonight or tomorrow it unloads those Canadian MINIs and then re-fuels (I guess) and heads to NY for 5/5/11. right?

My MA says the info he has says "two weeks" till he gets it. What!!

I got that from the 2wglobal tracking, from what I've read the cars get released to customs about 2 days before they get to the port.

Yea.. my MA said he won't know a timeline til he has it in his driveway.....
