Greetings all,

I brought home my first MINI just over a week ago. 2011 hot chocolate Clubman S. Loving my MINI....and the gas mileage I'm getting coming from a gas guzzling truck.

Too funny, we traded in a Yukon for a 2011 Hot Chocolate Clubman S last Saturday. Clearly, we both have excellent taste!

We traded in a 2005 Jeep Liberty for Our Clubman. Enjoy your new ride. BTW, that gas mileage goes away when you start enjoying the motor and suspension

I bet! I had been milking it for the first two tanks to see what kind of mileage I could get, but now its time to enjoy the skinny pedal on the right. Even when I drive her like she's stolen, I'm going to get better mileage than my truck.

Ive noticed quite a few people on the boards that go from trucks to the nice compact size of the MINI. I traded my 91 f150 in for my 04 MCS, best decision ever!

Congrats and welcome to the family.

I've had my Cooper for about a month now and have put 1500 miles on him.
Averaging about 35mpg so far, city/highway combined. My biggest complaint so far is that damn speedo that my wife watches like a hawk! I told her it reads about 5 fast! (actually about 3-4 according to the GPS)

I still have my truck....it's a 1999 Toyota Tacoma Pre-runner. It's worth so little now and the cost of maintenance is so low, so I decided to keep it. Doesn't hurt to have a second vehicle around. Plus incase I need to haul some big items...or help friends move...hahahaha
