Delivery Limbo
It took about 8 days to produce the car and get it to the docks. Eight days to float to NYC/NJ. It arrived on 5/5 and was at the VDC until 5/13 or 16. And now it has been in the hands of transport trying to go two hours to CT since then.
Maybe it was better in the "old" days when they just called you and said come get your car.

In the old days, they didn't give you the kind of advanced tracking you have now so you don't have to go through the torture of monitoring your car's progress every hour. I know it's tough but you might want to stop checking and not anticipate the call so much Pretend like it's the old days and just show up when you get the call.

When I ordered mine, it was at the VDC for a chunk of time, until I escalated to the sales manager at the dealership. Then suddenly, it shipped later that day.
I was becoming concerned that the reason it was delayed at the VDC was because damage had occurred during transport. I was assured that was not the case.
