We both laughed when we saw the MINI parked next to my wife's SUV
I traded my 2008 Ford Taurus (the newer big one, think Ford Five Hundred) for an '04 MCS. I pulled the MINI into the garage next to my wife's SUV and we got out and both burst into laughter. Where the Ford barely fit in the garage with the SUV -- I would make my passenger exit before entering, pull forward as far as I dared, and then check to see that the rear bumper cleared the path of the door -- I could almost put two MINIs in the same space. It was just too funny.
I had a New Beetle Turbo S before the Ford. Great car, but the turbo acceleration is a totally different feel from the supercharger. Going to be great fun getting to know this little package.
