Newbe In Town ;)
HEY NAM,
How is everyone? Finally thought after 3 months of reading information off NAM, i would actually join.
I have had my 2007 MCS for about 4 months now, and i am loving it. I keep getting crap from friends and people who knew about trading in my 600bhp Mustang GT in on a Mini Cooper. Not going to lie, mostly started looking at smaller cars for better gas milage, good ol' Socal, but i ended up loving this little car. This car has brought a bigger smile to my face than any muscle car could of. I have always been a car guy and have owed 27 cars since age 16, yes i am only 25 now. But out of everything i have owned and drove, this car has everything from HP to suspension. Anyway, i have already started to customize it. I have front strut bar, rear sway bar, nm ssa, nm ssa linkage cover, and k&n cai.
Anways, before i continue to talk on and on. Does anyone know of any MC car clubs in Socal near Mission Viejo?

Make sure you post some pictures!
My theory about HP equating to being a "better" car is that yeah ones ego will get boosted by beating someone while driving in a straight line. But those who can actually drive are the ones who are zipping around those twisting back roads. Plus, it's a hell of a lot more fun! Your friends are just jealous that you are having so much fun in a car that isn't using a lot of gas
Btw, what do you think of the rear sway bar? I'm installing an H-Sport one next week.

I have a 19mm H&R sway bar... and there is an awesome noticable change on the vehicle, it makes the back of the car feel heavier, like it is actually hugging the road.
I agree with the whole HP saying. They still all have muscle cars, and a couple have some import tuners. But my Mini is alot more fun to drive. Not boring like the tuners that everyone buys and just keeps dumping money into, and alot much cheaper than trying to keep a gas guzzler on the road.
