OL now showing at Distribution Center... WW is still showing it's on the ship... I'm going with OL... another step closer to home!!!

I think I'm up to 4 bags of popcorn now...

 

ASKMINI has mine as "at port awaiting a vessel" even though it should be at VDC today. OL still shows en route.

 

Now that's 4 bags worth of funny!

 

I think ASKMINI is great for the status in the production line, but after it leaves I'm not to sure of their abilities anymore.

My ship got in two days ago, but was dropping off other vehicles on the other side of the bay... then yesterday arrived at the correct side... so I'm think it was off loaded yesterday, but OL did not show it at VDC until today. I know throughout this OL has had a little lag... be patient and have some popcorn

 

OL has lagged behind all the way through, it's best just to call your MA for updated information.

If all else fails, have some more popcorn!

 

For those of you on the Asian Vision she is just rounding the bend in Panama headed for the Miraflores Locks and then the pacific. Grabbed a shot of her from the PanCanal.com webcams. One more week until California.

 

Can you tell me a little about ASKMINI. Is this just a number or website or what? I just received my order number yesterday, but I think my sales guy actually had it for a while and just forgot to give it to me until I asked for it. So when I check up on my MINI, the OL just says scheduled for production. Since the next step is awaiting tranport, it would be nice to know something in between, like if it is actually IN production.

 

Little late to the party, but I've been worse than a 10 year old promised a bike by Santa. Mine is at the DC. OL says May 28th delivery (I kinda don't think so). Assuming all goes right, next Saturday for me!

Picked up my ALL4 last night!!... I get a call from my MA yesterday at 3:30 stating the car,suprisingly, just showed up. We both thought it was in VDC purgatory as that was its current status...

1-866-ASK-MINI (1-866-275-6464) is the actual phone number and it's great for finding out when your Mini will go onto the production line, where it is, and when it will be done... beyond that it's not very good. And by that I mean they don't know what ship it's on or much else outside of the production line.

I just called Ask MINI (thanks, Fatboy97)... My MINI started production on May 21, the next business day after it was ordered!

If that is the case, then next time you call see if they know the Birth date... they should be able to tell you if it's already started.

 

Now the Owner Lounge is saying I have an Estimated Delivery Date: 5/29/12, which might get her home by 5/30/12...

Well, Punkin was hatched on 5/22. MA dealerspeed.net screenshot shows port of entry to be Brunswick (SSIPOA). NAM sticky says WW serves SSIPOA. The NAM link for WW lookup (entered VIN into Cargo ID field) says No Record Found. ASKMINI says the car has been delivered to Southhampton, but does not say if it's been loaded onto a ship. Anybody know if K-Line also serves SSIPOA? Tnx...

 

Mine was delivered to Brunswick on a K-Line ship. If you know the date it is going to arrive in Brunswick then you can find the ship on their web site and track its progress.

 

OL said 5-28 for mine, fat chance.

 

Thanks 2M; how did you know your car was on a K-Line? Is that something you found out after the fact? From what I've read on here, K-Line doesn't have any tracking info. Thanks again...

 

Even if my Mini is delayed by a day or two, or even three it will still be home in less than 6 Weeks.... which works for me.

Yes I know 5/28 is Memorial Day.
