I just ordered my second Mini. I currently have a 2011 Mini Cooper Convertible. Mini is doing a buy back because I had a ton of issues with it. I custom ordered a 2012 Roadster on May 25th 2012.
2012 Mini Roadster JCW, Metallic Midnight Black-- Technology Package with Nav, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Black headlight housings, Door mirror caps in chrome and chrome bonnet scoop... My SA said that it was scheduled for production the 23rd week of the year which would have been last week. I have been diligently checking the OL and it just says status on order... IM GOING INSANEEEEEEEEEEE I just want my baby already.... I have so many armenians on the 101 to race :( ahhhhhh Are they always this behind or are they pretty much on schedule?

All4Joe, very nice. MiniMama2012. Just repeat after me:
"Hi my name is <insert name>, and I stalk my mini".
You've come to the right place because we all do and nothing but taking delivery of your mini will solve it. Currently mine is sitting on the TOMBARRA crossing the Atlantic. I'm on the west coast so it's really tough right now because for about 11 days (maybe 9 now), no status will change.

Soooo, I'm really trying NOT to stalk my Mini, but I'm finding it difficult to maintain my sanity...
My Mini came out of production on 6/6, was transported to the dock on 6/8 and, according to the WW tracking, apparently loaded on a ship on 6/10...although, both the OL and the automated MiniUSA tracking still say it is waiting at the dock. I know the OL is usually a little behind, but the automated system was pretty much on target up until it got to the port. I have a booking number and a Bill of Lading number and my VIN does show up on the BOL with 41 other VIN's. However, when I click on the voyage number in the track and trace window it says that the voyage does not exist...??? When I search for the vessel on the WW site, it tells me that the vessel does not exist...??? I know the ship does exist and I was able to track it as it pulled into Southampton and when it left, but I cannot find any information at all about it's schedule, other than it is supposedly due to arrive at Port Hueneme on 7/3.
So, all I have to go on at this point is I think that he's on a boat, and I think he'll be here on 7/3, but other than that I'm in the dark. I'm going to try my MA tomorrow, but the last time I asked him for an update he told me that I was still waiting for a vessel, even though I could see that it was booked on the ship.

Have you tried http://www.marinetraffic.com. According to the WW site, I'm aboard a ship called tombarra that left Southamptom on 6.8.2012. When I use marinetraffic, I can't find it anywhere. My thoughts were that it's in an untrackable area. I haven't tried my MA and my MA hasn't updated me AT ALL. Nice guy but not on top of it like I would like. Maybe I'll shoot him an email.
Deejay, your thoughts are correct. You won't be able to pick up tracking until its close to the panama canal. If you have a droid or an iPhone marine traffic has an app. You can add your ship to the "my fleet" tab and it will send you email updates when it hits a port. Yes, I was a little obsessive and learned a lot tracking my countryman the last couple of months. It's all worth it!

Yes, Marine Traffic was where I was able to find the ship as it was coming into and leaving the port. I lost it yesterday as well, but I figured it was out of range. What I'd really like to see is some sort of itinerary of where it will be docking along the way, but I guess I'll find it again once it's in range.
I'm getting the same from my MA...I think I get way more info here than I can get out of him.

I've tried...it's not there. All it shows is when it was booked, loaded and departed, but when I search by the Voyage number or Vessel name it says they don't exist. I know that feature works because if I put in Tombarra as the vessel the voyage details come up.
Also, if you seach all shipments from Southampton to Port Hueneme the Vega_Leader is not listed among the Voyages. It's just very strange.

Mine is also aboard Tombarra. The vessel left Southampton a day late and is scheduled to arrive in Port Hueneme on the 28th. There has been no tracking data on the ship since the day she left Southampton, but may reappear as she gets closer to Panama.
