Our 2012 Cosmic Blue Countryman S just was released to the carrier yesterday and is on its way to the port. Now the fun begins!! This being my 3rd MINI, I have been through this waiting game before lol.
Looks like a good week to have a MINI waiting to be picked up from Bremerhaven as it looks like there is 1 K-Line ship and 2 WW ships scheduled to leave this week:
HOLY COW! That's a great picture! Were you on a separate boat in the channel to get that photo? LOL I think you get the new award for stalking! Congratulations on the new car! Not long now...

My MA told me. Called this morning getting some final numbers and he had all the data ready. Apparently it got on the boat on the 1st, and it showed "en route" on the OL on the 4th.
OH MAN, my MINI Advisor is out of the office till next Monday. My Countryman S is at the port and I want to know what ship it may go on. I know may not go for 2 weeks, but I am impatient.
My MA was out at the beginning of the week but promptly replied to my email when he returned. I highly recommend Roadshow MINI in Memphis, TN (technically Cordova but close enough). Have never had a better car-buying experience.
Tomar has landed at Port Hueneme! My MA says it could take 3-10 days to get to Concord Mini depending on the union guys and truckers. so close but still so far away!
What do xenor and bazinga have in common? Their Countrymans are both on the California Highway! Scheduled to hit Brunswick, GA on the 15th!
Congrats man! I haven't tracked the ship today, but on the 4th it was just leaving the English Channel. It's probably well on it's way in the mid atlantic by now.
Did he estimate that as the date it would be in Brunswick or at the dealer? I didn't think I would be so obssessed but it's been nine years since I've had a new car and I'm really excited!
He estimated Brunswick by the 14-15th, and at the dealer by the 20-22nd.
I'm rather impatient about it also. I sold my car quicker than expected, carpooled with my wife for a couple weeks, and now I'm driving a MB ML350 I borrowed from my dad. So at least I have a car, but it's not my car.
I assume you'll get it in TN by the 25th also (that's my pessimistic estimate, but it's more likely than the 22nd the MA told me).
That's about when I'm thinking. I have a really busy week at work that week anyway so the 25th will be the earliest I can get to Memphis to take delivery. I haven't sold my Honda yet but I'm going to try to sell it because I hope to beat the trade in offer from the dealer.

Granted I sold mine WAY too early, my dealership was giving me *under* the "poor" trade in value as listed on KBB by at least 500 bucks. What a rip off. I ended up selling the car for 500 *above* the "excellent" private party value. My advice, list on Autotrader, Cars.com, and put a huge ad in your local papers. Trade in never pays off, especially if they're stingy with the offer price.
Hey Bazinga, the California Highway is at the Fairfield Auto Terminal at the port in Baltimore Maryland (Probably dropping off some MBs). I assume it's dropping some cars off then it's heading to Georgia.
