The California Highway left Baltimore last night a little before midnight. It is currently off the NC coast. It may arrive in Brunswick tomorrow, the 15th, after all.

For you, going to TN, I'd estimate 7-8 days from the arrival from the VDC. Just speculating, but you're probably looking at the 26th or so.
I'm probably looking somewhere from the 23rd to the 25th.
Aparently your MA will have a delivery date after it arrives at Brunswick. I'm expecting a call from mine later this week to set up a delivery date/time, but we'll see if that happens.

Wife called the Sales Manager in Portland. Her MA was out. Sales Manager told her the car arrived in CA yesterday, was not at the VDC yet, but expected it there no later than Friday. Stated that it would probably take five (5) days to reach Portland. Stated that once it was on the truck, he would be able to track it closer. So, our planned pick up on September 5 looks good.

Congrats Nalublue.... How long typically does it sit in on order in OL ....we got our prod number on Monday ...this is not a good process for an impatient person LOL , any thoughts on when I should call MINI I am figuring that i need to wait at least a week before I start bugging them LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also I am reading about dealers not honoring trade amounts on ordered vehicles...how often does that happen???? isnt it written down???

Also, the OL is usually a few days behind reality (I'd say 48 hours). From what I've noticed the phone system (1-866-ASK-MINI) seems to be slightly more up to date (it may only be 24 hours behind... hard to tell though).
It took me about a week to go from (in the words the owner's lounge uses) 'On order' to 'Scheduled for production'. The phone system is where I have my estimated completion date from (and it describes it as 'in production').
Just a lot of waiting though!

The plant in Austria that is producing CMs has been on vacation the past two weeks and production starts up again next week. As a result my car started production on the 3rd and isn't scheduled to be done until the 23rd (normally it's supposed to be about a week).

NH_Countryman: I know how you feel but it's SO worth it when you get it -exactly like you ordered. There is a thread on Countryman timelines under R60 that can give you an idea. The factory may be ramping up for the 2013's so it may take longer. since you're on the east coast your ship time will be a little less than those of on on the west. I've heard eating popcorn helps...
I hope to get photo up this afternoon. Gotta get those Hawaiian seat covers on!

We are in the same boat. My car started production on August 1st and is estimated to be completed on the 23rd as well. How did you find out that the plant was opening back up next week? My MA hasn't told me a thing. Also, I'm on the west coast so it is going to take forever to get him home to me.

I just got the info about the plant closing from here, I haven't really bugged the dealership much - but it matched up with what I expected as far as total production time with two weeks added. I never actually had anything tell me the date when production started, but the 3rd was the date that the phone system was updated (I think it was another day before the OL was updated).
