That makes me feel better. My car was on the Antares as well and I was starting to get paranoid about whether something nasty was being fixed at the VDC. If mine takes a bit longer than yours, I'll have my Not Normal coupon when I take delivery. My dealer's NN event is on Saturday.
Does anyone on the Antares Leader show any status other than "En Route" in the OL?

Well, after almost 2 months of waiting, I'm set to pick my new Countryman ALL4 tomorrow morning. Very excited - also a little nervous. I went in to order all black, but when I asked to see the anthracite rims, the dealer showed me on a Royal Gray S, and I changed my mine at the last minute. Went with black roof and mirrors, and anthracite rims. Mostly black interior - boldest move I made was the checkered accent option. But otherwise all black inside, with anthracite headliner. Feels a little boring in hindsight, but maybe just wedding night jitters
I turn my cars over regularly, but the option to add what I wanted made me commit myself to having this car for the long-term (planning on five years, which is long-term for me).
Wish me luck!

Just for grins and giggles, I checked my dealer's web site and noticed MY CAR was listed (VIN matched my order). My MA assured me that they list cars when they clear the VDC and that my car is not here nor is it available for sale to anyone else. It still raised my blood pressure a few points.

FINALLY, after close to 2 months wait, I have picked up my CM all4!!! Currently in an auto detail shop installing clear bra & stripes
One thing I need to remind fellow CM owners, if you don't want dealer to drill holes on the front bumper, do tell them up front! I forgot and ended up with 2 big holes on the bumper However I have found an alternative,

aleclee,
Same here. Ours were on the same boat. Original estimate was the 15th, then 21st, then he said hopefully the 24th, but won't give me any more dates, until it arrives at the dealership. He said it was stuck at the VDC. Oh well. Feels like my 5th year in college where all my friends have moved on. ASK-MINI has already recycled my prod number.

It has been a fun journey indeed for me (and my wife) all these 8 weeks, when I placed the order on August 27 until I picked up the car October 22. The waiting was long and patience was tested. But the waiting was made easier because of the wonderful people of this forum who became my "companions" along the way. Some of you gave tips and useful pieces of information. Others provided insights gathered from their personal experiences. Of course, some threw in clever and funny remarks which made all these days pass by faster. To all of you, Thanks.
Czar4, it's been a great boat ride across the ocean.
Now, it's time to move on to the next chapter.
Keep on Motoring!

We ordered our 2012 CMS back on September 29th, and I found NAM not long after that. Good thing too, as our MA - while a very nice guy - is not very helpful when it comes to updating us on our status. There's enough information here to just about make up for that.
Overall, I think our timeline has been about as good as could be expected. We must have taken a dealer slot because we had our production number when we left the dealership. I don't have the exact timeline in front of me, but right now the car is at the port in Bremerhaven waiting for a ship. We just missed the ones that left port on the 24th, and the next ones don't depart there until the 31st. I'm hoping we get on the Don Juan or the Chesapeake Highway... If not those, looks like there's no more for yet another week.
This whole experience of ordering a car is really a trip... I can recite my production number, I know the VIN by heart, I've developed a fascination with ship schedules and tracking, I feel like I've been to the port of Bremerhaven because I've looked at the satellite imagery so often (same for the Magna Steyr plant in Graz)... And so on.
Cosmic blue/white, sunroof, cold weather+sport packages, anthracite wheels. Please be here by thanksgiving
