I received a quick response from the Sales Manager, and they will honor the $750 without the certificate - yeah!!!

He said they should have car by Friday at the latest. So I just need to be patient a few more days.

Congrats! I hope you'll post some photos next week! I like the Ice Blue but I didn't think it looked as good on an S as on the Justa. Looks GREAT with the chrome grille though, very classy and retro.

My MA called today. My MINI has arrived! It's in Des Moines and I'll drive out this weekend to pick it up. For those keeping score, INTEGRITY dropped our cars off on 10/28 in Baltimore, MD and it arrived at my dealer in Des Moines, IA on 10/31.

My Mini is still stuck at Southampton port. It's been sitting there for a week. And I think the net ship isn't for a few more days. This process has seemed to slow down a bit for me. Just sitting here waiting it out...

 

So, mine should be in Pittsburgh by now, then? Yeah... Or no. Might give a call to my MA today to see where it is.

Have you plugged your VIN number into the WW website? When I checked a couple of weeks ago it looked like there where a lot of ships leaving in the next few weeks. If you are in Illinois I think you will be coming into the port of Baltimore, if that helps.

 

So... Just heard from my MA (who isn't actually at work today). He claims that it usually takes a week to get from port to the dealer. Intriguing how many others who were on the Integrity already have or will soon have theirs. Hmmm. He also said something about resubmitting the quote, as it "has a shelf life." (Er...) I'm hoping that won't change the price in any weird way. He seemed to be thinking it was just a formality. Wonder if MINI has any good November "deals." Haha.

Mine started production last Tuesday. I have a production number but as I am in Canada, the Owners Lounge doesn't seem to let me in.

WTF? Have you checked the Owner's Lounge? (under Review Order Detail) Mine says estimated delivery date of 11/3. I would escalate this issue in order to get a better answer. When my MA was giving me the runaround the sales manager gave me an answer.

 

Yes I think so. Maybe you can check the owners lounge and get a status of your production so I can have an idea of the status of mine, hehe.

 

Yeah, it says 11/3 as the delivery date. I'm hoping that remains the case. Still, it's a bit disconcerting that he couldn't/didn't verify it and added the bit about having to resubmit the financing information. Might make a call to the manager later today, since I know my MA is out of the office.

 

The OL site seems to be behind. As of this morning, mine was coming out of the paint shop. (I called 866-ASK-MINI) They are at least two days ahead of the OL site.

 

Just curious, when did you order? I have a loan approved through a credit union, but the sales manager yesterday said they had 2.90% for 60mos available. Then my MA (last night at 6pm) said it was only good through 10/31...but hopefully would extend into November. Maybe their rates are changing in November? I applied anyway and will see what kind of deal I can get. When I ordered on 10/1 my rate was better than theirs.

 

I ordered my clubman on 10/02...having filled out all the paperwork for a dealer trade that didn't end up being what I wanted. At that time, I got 0.9 financing, which they locked for 60 days. I certainly hope I end up with that rate, as I added things I may otherwise have talked myself out of because of it.

 

I have checked with my vin. And called my MA who said I am still at stage 193. 194 is selected for transport ship, which has not occurred yet. So just sitting at the port, still. I have been checking but no movement as of yet.

Good to see we have a bunch of boats headed to our shores. I am waiting for some god news that my baby has made the cut and jumped aboard a ship. I had to stop checking everyday since it was driving me nuts.

 

Where are you guys finding these ships? I assume mine will be coming into Brunswick (or Charleston?) since Im in South Carolina...just wondering what ETAs there are open for those ports. Still hoping my car will be in my hands by Thanksgiving--he is supposed to be finished tomorrow.

 

You can go to WW's and K-Line's websites and search their schedules. Granted, this type of thing used to be part of my job a few years ago so I'm an old pro, but it's not hard for a newbie once you're pointed in the right direction

I only posted the Ballmer stops because that's where mine is headed. Add 2 days for Brunswick or add 3 days for Charleston in most cases.
