Wow last night OL moved my delivery back from the 13th to the 15th. OK, not as spiffy but more realistic :-(

 

Just got info from my MA that he is also showing 11/13, but that they won't deliver if the dealership is closed (which was yesterday). He's expecting it either today or tomorrow...

You can go onto the WW shipping site to see the schedules. The Mignon is leaving Bremerhaven Nov. 19 with arrival in Port Hueneme Dec. 16. The next ship is the Otello leaving Dec. 3, arriving Dec. 28. The main delay then is how long it is at Port Hueneme.
My cabrio arrived Nov. 1 at Port Hueneme but didn't get to the dealership until Friday. I will pick it up Thursday, so that is a 16-day wait.

The Countryman I ordered will finish production the 18th so I don't see how it could get to Bremerhaven and loaded by the 19th. So, I am betting I won't see it until the 2nd week of January. I know my MA said he would apply the Motortober credit to the cabrio as the Countryman wouldn't make it by the Jan. 3 deadline.
At least it will break up the registration renewals a bit so I don't have 2 cars to renew at the same time.

Heard from my MA that my JCW Coupe arrived this morning. Will try to get it tomorrow evening, otherwise it might have to wait until Saturday.

It's a good day in Colorado! The "Call" came in, and I am on schedule to pick up my car this afternoon at MINI of Loveland!! Three days short of 8 weeks from placing my order.

 

Congrats Orionizer! Hope you can pick it up soon! I'll be thinking of you motoring thru the mountains up there ! I am ok with the short wait now, it won't be long and I already have my insurance set up for starting tomorrow.

Just called to check on the status of my 2012 CM....The automated system told me that the scheduled production completion date is 11/15 (tomorrow) but when I opted to speak to a real, live person, she told me that it went into production today. Well, that's about an 8 day difference, I suppose.

Patience is not my greatest strength but I guess I'll hang in there!!

 

Congrats! Maybe I'll pass you in traffic some time.

I am strongly considering 3M film wrap on the hood for protection, after I take delivery. Was thinking of buying a bra but the clear protection is better. Will your dealer be applying the Xpel, and where?

It's according to if the Xpel can be installed with all the options (I've written my MA and told him I can wait on stripes until Friday or Saturday) as long as everything else is done. Waiting on a reply...

*sigh* my little guy did not get on KLine last week. Fingers crossed he leaves on the WW ship tomorrow.

click on tract and trace, enter the ship name you think it might be on and put your VIN# in the Cargo ID line. It will tell you whether it's on the ship or not.

Schedules got delayed from when I last checked... even my boat is running a day behind. Plus it also appears that holidays are going to slow things down -- the boats leaving 11/19-11/21 have 13-14 day ETAs to Baltimore which is up to 6 days longer than usual.
