I should be getting pictures from Crevier shortly.

My things is now, they have to FedEx docs to me then I have to FedEx them back to them. So it looks like my car will be put on the truck on Saturday and get to the 1st shop on Sunday.
Im just happy to know it coming home and I have a timeline. I hate "unknowns"

I'm definitely going to ask my MA for the $500 December rebate tomorrow--would be good to be able to reference a fellow Crevier JCW motorer who just got the deal too. PM me, if preferable.

 

Thanks and sure thing....Kirk Larson @ Crevier..I'm wiring the money before they change their minds. I actually told them I heard from a few others that had gotten the rebate. It wasn't an issue at all.

Simply ask if he could check for a $500 rebate for december delivery, and that I had heard that several other people had gotten it on a mini forum. He said, "no problem let me check", called me back and said yes it did apply to me as well. BINGO!!

It's funny I just got some more stuff delivered from DoS at my house, and like 10 minutes later the guy from the shop emailed me and said he just got SS brake lines, the short shifter, and torque mount inserts. Christmas is coming a little early for me.

Can't wait to follow the progress. Man...is it really only 11:40am on Thursday?!?! I really should just take off from work and pick up the car today...aarrgghh.

I don't think I'm going to get the $500 rebate. :( I don't think my dealer will combine it with the Motor-tober rebate.

 

The progress is going to go very quickly, I am having everything installed once it is delivered to the 1st shop, and then it will go directly to get a full detail, full clear bra, stripes, tint, and blackout some of the chrome and another shop. So, if all goes as scheduled I should have it in my hands next Thursday or Friday.

 

Did I mention that I was jealous earlier? In case I didn't, let me say it now! Very extrememly jealous. That said, I know exactly whose advice I'll seek when I catch the mod bug... =)

Hey Guys I'm new and just ordered. 2012 Countryman S ALL4 Cosmic BLue/White top. Got my Production # and it is at "on order"

How long until schedueled for production?

 

I think mine was like 1 week after I got the Production #...don't know if that normal or not. Just my experience.

 

Have you heard anything from your MA? Mine is out until Monday.

So I am in limbo. I called the dealer to see if someone could check on the status. Another MA said they would call me back shortly. That was over 2 hrs ago.

The OL says that my car is at the VDC.

 

I wouldn't go by the OL...its a nice feature to keep your attention, but mine said that my car was still on the boat as of last night.

 

According to the OL mine was "on order" literally till a day before it actually got a VIN and went into production even though the automated 866# as well as the customer service rep told me it changed to "scheduled for production the day after the order was placed by my dealer. Regardless the OL site had me "on order" for about 10 days. Like has been mentioned, the OL is handy to get a rough idea but I would consider it a VERY rough idea of where your car actually is in the process.

 

Congratulations! I love that dark grey with the red roof/mirrors. Very cool! Your wheels are cool too. When I first opened the saw the picture I thought you had a white hood! I was thinking, well, that's different! LOL Gonna be posting some "before" pics of mine in a few minutes (before any mods and there already are some!) If I've ever in Scottsdale, I'll take you up on that drink! Have you ever gone to the Barrett Jackson auction?

 

Danigurrl, that's B.S. Ask them why you don't qualify. I got the Motor-tober $750 AND the December $500 (and on top of that I negotiated what I think was an excellent deal on the price). One rebate has nothing to do with the other. They're separate promotions and it's no skin off the dealer's nose to give them to you because it's MINI money, not dealer money. They still get their negotiated price for the car without the rebates, so I don't know why they're playing hardball with you. Make sure you tell them that everybody else you've spoken to got both. I'd be ready walk if they didn't give it to you. I did walk from the first dealer I was working with because I figured out after the order (and after the car went into production) that the deal sucked and that I wouldn't qualify for the Motor-tober deal on that car. That walk was worth $1,850 to me (the difference between the first deal and the second). I ended up waiting an additional four weeks for my MINI, but I think it was worth the wait. I feel very good about the deal I got.
