Introducing myself here in hopes of meeting a few mini enthusiasts as well as to educate myself more about minis. A bit of my background; I am originally from Chicago but now live in carbondale illinois for school. I attend SIUC and am an automotive major. I've been interested in minis ever since i was an apprentice at knauz bmw/mini in lake bluff illinois. Before coming down to school, I picked up a mkv gti. A plethora of modifications followed. I am hoping to sell the gti sometime in the near future and pick up a chili red r53.
