my Cooper S conv. Hi all. This is my first post. I bought my MINI new back in 2010. I sold my 500hp Corvette Z06 to buy a car that my wife can drive too. The MINI! Amazingly I have more fun in it. Plus the chances of me driving off the road are much less than in the vette! win win! It's had a few very minor issues (new water pump and annoying rattle in door) which are both fixed. Now it's just pure fun. Only problem is I drive way too fast in it. I feel like a race car driver when just running to get cannoli's at the local bakery. Good thing is I think I can outrun the cops if I had too.

 

Congrats! My husband has his '11 Z06 but looks for excuses to drive my MINI - he tells everyone he loves it!

Plus- now you get to do "A MINI Vacation in Vegas" instead of "Corvette Summer Classic" or whatever it was in Rapid City, SD (we passed through there a couple of weeks ago to see Mt. Rushmore and stumbled across that Corvette gathering).

I know how you feel. I'm 60 and still have a blast every time I pull out of the drive. Heck, I have a blast just seeing it in the drive. Most fun car I've owned. Enjoy!
