Just thought I would update you on my quest. I spent a few hours at a dealership earlier today and a very good response from the MA. We worked on my build and got to the bottom of some of the dealer installed items that have additional labor charges. All in all it was a good day, as it appears I have settled on the build that I want. Now I all I need is May 2012 to get here, that's when I lose my company car and I can drive what I want!!!

JCW Clubman
Chili Pepper Red with Black roof
Technology Package and some other goodies too.

I will continue to work them on pricing, as I have four dealerships in the area. But these guys will get last shot at the deal, since they were so helpful.

Thanks for all your assistance.

None of the upgrades in the dealer-installed JCW kit are for anything inside of the engine.

Is this right? I was told the fJCW cars don't run that much. I guess I have to do some more research.

SOOOOOO, I'm not the only fiberglass car owner (prior owner) that has migrated to a mini way of life. In my case, think torch red drop top 2k (year) model. I'm digging the mini, really fun to drive and ya can't beat shiftin with the smooth 6 speed!
