GEN2 oil filter is sort of under the coolant overflow tank
you must move the overflow tank to get to the filter - you don't have to remove it tho, just remove the one holding bolt and you can move the tank enuf w/out disconnecting the hose or draining any coolant
be careful when you drain the oil the first time - several folks have pulled the first drain they found, and drained the transmission. The oil drain is an 8mm hex, and is on the passenger side . . .

there is a DIY guide in the 'how to' section of the GEN2 threads but be careful, there are booboo's like saying the oil drain is a torx fitting (a torx will fit, but clearly it is a hex)
