Welcome! Your car sounds like the hardtop version of my wife's convertible! You don't see the Chrono Package very often, but it's really nice to have, considering the sparse instrumentation you get without it.

Did you get the original window sticker with the car? With that many options, it might be worthwhile to see if the original owner sprung for the Limited-Slip differential as well. That's assuming you have a manual transmission, though - the LSD wasn't available on the automatics. If you don't have the window sticker, a MINI dealer will be able to run your VIN and tell you all of the options that were delivered on the car from the factory.

2006 Mini Cooper S

Yep, the car has an LSD as confirmed by Baron Mini in Merriam, KS. I have the dealer photo of it as I haven't had a chance to make some nice photos of the car. It's a 6-speed manual. Also the car was built September 2006 so it was a last run of the first gen.

I think I just emailed your company asking about any used Strut Tower Defenders you might have. The price I have been finding for a lot of them is a bit too rich for my blood but I want the top side ones not the ones that go under the strut towers.

Thank you! I would love to autox little Winston one of these days but he still needs a lot of work to make the car race-ready. Fun little cars.

And thank you for the complement on the wheels, I like that too haha

Another user on NAM ("COOPERation") has been doing them for years. It's something he does for fun in his spare time, but if you ask him he'll probably make one for you. Or, check out this thread, and there's a chance he's already done one that looks like your car.
