I am the proud owner of a 2004 MCS 6spd in Pure Silver. I am having on Thursday a Helix short throw shifter and 15% pulley installed. CANT WAIT. I hope it is what everyone talk about. I snagged a Sprint booster dirt cheap to install when it arrives hopefully by Thursday as well. I already have installed K&N typhoon, One ball mod exhaust, MSD coil, Magnacor wires and Zimmerman Slotted/drilled rotors.

Suspension comes next

Ok so today I notice 1 day after the pulley install, I have a high pitched ringing sound by the pulley. I can not tell if it is the pulley or how far around the pulley the sound is coming from. You can hear it only when idling as the noise from the supercharger can drown out the sound. When cruising you can hear it under 3000 rpm. The sound reminds me of taking a bolt with a washer on it. Now spin the washer and you get a ringing sound. Or another sound is running your finger on the edge of a crystal glass in circles. It rings.

I have checked over all bolts, nuts, and hoses. I see nothing.

I took the intercooler off, cleaned it inside and out. Checked and cleaned intercooler boots for any issues. Nothing.

Any help? Thanks in advance
