Brake Dust

Bought 09 MCS Convertible last Feb. After minor problem with tailgate wire harness, car has been great. Really fun to drive. I like to keep the car looking good. I find that brake dust accumulates very quickly on the wheels. Any suggestions? Have tried the Armorall wheel spray which helps a little while. Should I be looking to change brake pad material when new pads are needed?

The only way to solve this is to use different brake pads. Anything but the OEM ones, and most of the aftermarket ones offer very low dust and are near the same price or only a few dollars more. Mintex, Hawk, Carbotech, EBC.

I put the EBC Greens on my 02 Cooper a couple of years ago and, frankly, I don't see the difference in brake dust....It was too much before and too much after!
