What took me so long?

I am kicking myself for not buying a MINI sooner. I love this thing.

I feel the same way! I really don't know why I didn't buy one sooner as I would have been having much more enjoyable drives! Welcome to NAM and glad you finally decided to buy yours! What did you get? I'm assuming a black one?

It's kind of hard to like driving anything else I can afford, now.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday. I've had Habanero for just under two weeks and I sold a 335i to get him. I calculated how much money I could have saved buying a MINI three years ago instead of the 335 (not to mention the better gas mileage) and had even more fun driving it than the 335.. I'm glad I have a MINI now, but I wish I had done it three years ago.

We had to wait for kids to grow up and go off to college before we could justify it. I satisfied myself with 5 motorcycles over a 10 year period. But, I'm with you Habenero: we've had our SO convertible for nearly 2 weeks and both of us are soooo lovin' it. Can't imagine going back.

Bought mine used back in August and have loved it ever since. Even with the few things I've had to fix.

Same here, only I managed with two bikes. Actually the MINI is a lot like my FLHTCU -- same size engine, a pure blast to ride, great gas mileage and other cars treat you like you're invisible (or the other drivers are jealous of someone having so much fun).

Better late than never! I love mine too. I used to go through cars every three years but having bought my JCW in 2008 I still love it now as much as the first day I drove it off the lot.
