Hi my name is Will and I have a 2006 MCS JCW Checkmate. I have had it for little over 3 months and it has been great so far! The previous owner who ordered the car had almost every option installed and even had the dealer install a Wilwood big brake kit.

Very nice. Other than the obvious checkered sticker what are the other standard upgrades on a checkmate?

 

The checkmate package is the paint scheme space blue / silver roof and the blue interior. It was a 2006 only option and only 20 JCW checkmates were made.

 

Very nice ride. Whew! So many different varieties. It's interesting to learn about all the history on this storied car.

Welcome, the Checkmate is more rare than most think as we don't see them in for service often.

 

I only know of one other checkmate near me and it is a base with out the panoramic roof and no options. An instructor that I had said his mechanic in Canada had a JCW checkmate but it didn't have the chrono package or panoramic roof and was surprised mine did.

 

I'm digging the checkerboard on the fenders. Welcome from fellow noob.

I am not actually sure how many jcw checkmates were made. I have never seen another. On howmanyleft.co.uk only 21 jcw checkmates have been registered in Europe since they came out.
