New member all because of the wife lol
Hello everyone, my wife just purchased her first car, and dream car at that, a 2005 black/black Mini Cooper S. In fact because of this website, I was able to use some of your information to help make the price too good to pass up.
My wife is big into Mini's, dating all the way back when I told her what one was while in Taiwan ( She wasn't that well educated in cars at the time) which I find Ironic, since it was an original Mini Cooper that was Black/Black. Who knew today the one we would purchase would that color combo we saw that day (Black body, Black Roof, no hood stripes)
Between basic, and advanced maintenance, I will be using this site to help her "design" the car that way she want's it. Also this is my first European owned car, so I'm crossing my fingers it doesn't cause European style car break downs lol.
Overall I'm very, VERY impressed with the Mini cooper, and after many ears of owning my Camaro, the car I vowed I'd never sell, I'm getting weak in the knees, and may be in the market to buy one. I autocross maybe once, or twice a year with the Camaro, but I'd prefer to own something that handles like a go kart right outta the box, and is just more up to date in standards.

Yes it is, and after driving her car , I feel like my camaro drives like a 1975 Lincoln. I have to watch when I turn, even though I upgraded my ratio in the Camaro to a 14.1:1, her's turns on a dime. But even if not to take to an Auto-X, just driving it around, it's night and day, and rarely am I quickly impressed with a car. My wife's been cutting on me that her, of all people got me in to a car :D

I'm dying to upload a few, but I havent had enough time with the car to clean it, and by the time I get home, it's too dark out to clean it. I will soon
My wife's driving time has only been about an hour......I'm going on 6 hours total lol, I keep forgetting who it was for, kind of like buyign a christmas gift for someone, when actually it's for you.
