Shoppng for a Mini and advice

Hey everybody, I'm new to this forum board and not a mini owner (YET). I am in the market for a new car and have decided to buy a Mini for my next car. I looked at an 2003 R53 yesterday. It only has 72,XXX miles. It has a lot of features on it but a couple things struck me as odd. Maybe they are just normal features but I wanted an opinion. The drivers Xenon headlight turns on intermittently, but works fine when it turns on. Through reading it looks like this may be an igniter issue???? Also the Navigation system will turn off while driving a reboot and turn back on. Other than that the car appears to be a clean car and drove great. The guy told me that the power steering pump was replaced (which he said is common). I just wanted to see what owners thought about the issues/problems because I do not see them as dealbreakers for the price he is asking.

Again, I'm looking to buy in the next couple weeks, so any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

If it's an automatic, stay away. Personally, I prefer 05-06 models.
