New to the Mini world :]
Hi everyone! My name is Krislam and I purchased my first mini over the weekend and I'm so in love!! :] I used to drive a Mazda 3 and lost it in an accident (RIP MZ3) and decided to venture out and get a new car and landed with this bad boy. His name is Murfee and he's absolutely dashing ^_^ I'm planning to play with him a little as soon as I familiarize myself with the car.
I'm not entirely new to the forum world (I used to post in MOCC) but I am new here... Nice to meet all of you :}
And here's Murfee the day we bought him <3

Ahh, thanks everyone! <3 I feel so welcomed hehe..
I was supposed to get a brand new red one, but then saw this one and I just HAD to get it. It does suck that they don't make it in this color anymore, but I guess it adds more value to the car (:
And as far as modding my first priority is to get him tinted x] socal weather is going to kick up soon and last thing I need is a toaster car when I go inside xDD\
Then lowering him...Oh wait no.. HID lights? Mmm, I wonder if that would look good on the yellow..definitely new rims though, I'm thinking yellow or white..
Ahhh the options!! Hahaha..

ha! the choice of upgrades is part of the fun. I have a couple of thoughts to throw out at ya if you don't mind?
If it's handling you like, I suggest an upgraded rear sway bar and front strut brace for a good bolt on start.
I'm not sure why but I found that the stock Cooper feels as though it handles better than the S,,,my imagination maybe, or could be the lighter weight?
Front lamps look awesome! I have some and my lady wants some. But she's not getting them because they are expensive to install and ya can't have a hack doing electrical work! They just happen to be on my car when I bought it. I think you'll find the stock lamps more than ample for lighting !
If you have 'em installed , be careful they don't put holes in either your bumper or hood! (I'm sure you wouldn't but some techs will tell ya you have to)
Have a great time with your new car!!
