and this is a pretty good shot of what the paint looks like. im not familiar with any other minis this color

Time for an update!
well after just over a year i still haven't managed to do much performance-wise with the car, but all in good time i suppose.
It wasn't long before i started looking into some cosmetic changes to make it my own. i found that the beltline blackout kit from outmotoring definitely smoothed out the flow of the black. i also went from the stock 16s to some black 17x7 Sparco assetto wheels. so here's that picture
i also took the time to black out the tails. but they're back to stock now. (not sure if i like it or not.)
i purchased my Euro plate to break up the lines. as of now i continually swap it on and off.
(now it's a little more straight. i just don't have an updated picture.)
i went and got an offset stripe done in flat black. i think it's a good contrast to the metallic paint. i also did some yellow tint on the turn signals as well as yellow foglight bulbs.
here's a sort of updated pic. i removed the driving lights because i never used them anyway.
here is the most recent picture. i finally broke down and did the joey mod on my halogens. i also had the one-ball mod done. its nice hearing the extra volume and burble from the rear
i toggle back and forth between Motoring|Underground and here, so i'll try to keep both sites updated as more things come in!

I love that you replied in this way. Because you see, there was no fart can on my Honda. That was the quietest and best sounding exhaust for that car. That car also gave me a regional championship in the street touring class.
