New to me '09 JCW
I just picked up last night with 34k on the clock this lovely Chilie Red '09 JCW......pretty nicely equipped and in great condition. I almost bought an 's' in '04 but opted for a VW .:R32 instead, which was a great car, but I have kept an eye on the Minis since and when this JCW popped up I just couldn't resist.
I'll take some better pics and setup a proper signature this evening. I used this great forum to gather loads of info before making the leap so "thanks".

Thanks for the welcome folks!
As far as the .:R32 I LOVED IT! Simply a great all around car with one of the best interiors and exhaust notes that I've had the privilege of owning. The Haldex AWD system was fantastic and never seemed to interfere with the fun.....just point and shoot. The only downside was the car was a bit on the heavy side. It was horribly heavy but there were times when it's heft was obvious. I've owned quite a few fun cars and the .:R is one of the only ones I regret getting rid of.
I actually am not a fan of red for cars of mine but the body/paint condition and the fact that it is a JCW made me overlook it's color flaw. I tend to prefer gray/silver for my vehicles but, honestly, I think the Mini looks good in red and is growing on me nicely.
I was going to take more pics but simply got sidetracked with house/property projects so I'll shoehorn 'em in to the "Chili Red" thread in the next few days.
Cheers!
