If you haven't already, you need to check out the local Mini Motoring Clubs. DC has one and I am a member of C3M, Central Maryland Mini Motorists on www.meetup.com

If you can, you might want to also check out the Tar Heel MINI Motoring Club. They're well south of us, but they also have some fantastic events. There's a big event coming up in June they host annually - the Blue Ridge Parkway Tour. The event will cover the full length of BRP, this year from south to north. You can still register, just go to their website. I'm actually going to hook up with them in Marion, NC. Locally there's also DC Metro MINIs (although there are annual dues with them) and the Hampton Roads Club MINI. The Tar Heels, C3M, and Hampton Roads clubs are free to join. Lots of really neat folks in these clubs.... MINIacs one and all! Hope to see you at the BRPT!
