amancuso's correct, except if your MINI needs to go out for detailing. You can also ask your MA to send you a pic of the odometer mileage reading via email before you come in to dealership to pick it up. Keeps the MA, other employees and "test drivers" honest.

You're welcome. No worries. The car has been at the VDC since Friday, I hope it gets here soon. We're only about 90 mins from the VDC!

Kath, same here! I don't think I can ever "buy off the lot" again. Still waiting in anticipation.

Has any one on the Chesapeake Highway had their OL status update?

I enjoy reading all of your posts. It is comforting to know that I am in good company. My Countryman S is still at the port, has been there maybe three days.

Oh...I LOVE the photos you're all posting! Like candy.

spinlock, mine still says "awaiting transport". Unlike other people's experience, my OL updated quickly and accurately up to this point. But I still think OL is worthless...

@brownisland i work in IT, business automation, etc, and I find it disturbing that Mini can build cars in such an efficient manner, but their IT department can't manage to keep a website up to date!

Update on telephone: "Your vehicle is being transported to the port of exit."

I wish I could buy 10 of these and go through this again and again.

Very happy for you Amancuso! Please post pics and congrats on graduating. We will miss you once you've moved on out ... at least until ours come. :-)

Thanks! Yep, I know what the waiting is like, but hanging out in this support group helped a lot. Oh, and eating mass quantities of dark chocolate I'm still on an adrenaline high with driving COKESTR. Geez, my work commute is actually, dare I say it, fun?!? btw, I am so glad we added the sport suspension...Seattle's streets are "pothole city", and while I try to avoid them using some very creative steering I cannot avoid ALL of them. The weather has been WET, WET and WET since Saturday night, so yeah, I'm breakin' COKESTR in perfectly Huggin' the road like it was built for it.

Do 2013 models come with the new 9-pin charger for the IPhone, or the 30-pin charger? My salesperson is including a charger (maybe it's a point-of-sale add on.) My household has both IPhones. I'm thinking if the Mini comes with the 9-pin charger, that's fine for my IPhone and there are adapters for the 30-pin IPhone. But if the Mini comes with the 30-pin adapter, is there such a thing as a 9-pin to 30-pin adapter?

Similar boat here. My MA said it's still the "normal" 30-pin cable. But adapters can be found for it
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Apple---...&skuId=6651881 Should work as the Mini cable isn't anything really all that special just the audio is routed off of it into analog format. My MA agrees, the adapter should work just fine. Worth a shot.

Arcrys, Thanks. I bookmarked the page. Since it's a "Apple Lightning to 30-pin Adapter," I wonder if there is such a thing as a "30-pin to Lightning Adapter." So we can use the IPhone 4 with a 9-pin cable (if the car arrives with a 9-pin cable.)

This may be too far afield from this thread, but it's on my mind as I wait for my Mini!!

Let me sneak one more question: How do you all get photos to appear in your signatures? I tried (less than 500 x 100 pixels) but it is not showing up. Newbie here.

Yep! It's my other (slightly more nerdy) obsession. My Wife rolls her eyes at it but she's in it also and troops with us so she's not fooling anyone.

Nope not me - Stormtrooper gear get's to be a pain. Takes 20 min to get the crap off and there's no....liquid evacuation port....so after a few beers....well, you get the idea.
