It's showing as in NYC now. http://www.vesselfinder.com/?mmsi=564254000#

"I don't see that ship on the W&W schedule site. It's going to Port Hueneme?"

Jake C6R: I don't see the Zenith Leader on the ww site either, it is on the NYK line, I don't know if that's the reason, though.

The link above by Kurtster has the most recent information, the little color pushpins in the map indicate the vessels docked at that port, you can select each and see their names displayed to the left (not easy to read on a smartphone though). I just called my MA and she's on vacay until Dec 31st. Trying to find someone else who can help me at this point.

Feel lucky Captain Peachfuzz is not piloting your ship. Until my MINI boarded the Florida Highway she was supposed to be at the Baltimore port on Dec 23. Once Captain Peachfuzz got a hold of her and sailed around the northern tip of the UK her arrival date changed to Dec 26 and now has recently been moved to Dec 27.

Note: Captain Peachfuzz departed before your ships with no scheduled stops other than Baltimore

Thanks for that. Maybe I don't know how to search all the available schedules. As far as I can tell, the next ship from Southampton to Port Hueneme is 1/1/13, (Fidelio) correct? Thanks!

Zenith Leader!

Jake,
The Zenith Leader left South Hampton on Dec. 10th and will arrive at Hueneme on Jan. 2nd per this Schedule http://www.premiership.ltd.uk/downlo...Schedule_1.pdf

I have a car on this ship and have been watching it as close as possible

Thank you, I have not seen that schedule before. That would be a great addition to the how to track your Mini link! I hope you get yours on time!

I'm marking this date in my calendar. Mine was ordered 12-21-2012, went to the dealer to register today but no production number yet. Sitting on my thumbs waiting. This is going to be the longest 6-8 weeks of my life.

I'm an idiot! So sorry. I mistyped that. I ordered 11/3, not 9/3. Sorry about that. I don't know why I did that. Still feels like that long though. I've corrected my signature. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

No problem, you did have me scared that 8 weeks might just be a drop in the bucket. 8 weeks is what I keep hearing and that seems so far off currently so anything less would be awesome in my book. I drive an old beat up 1995 Mitsubishi MightMax and every day I think of how if I had my Mini I could just hit the gas and get either around a dumb person driving slow in the fast lane or simply get out of the way quickly. Plus my truck has decided as of this morning to blow hot air through the vents even when heat is not selected (keep in mind the A/C is beyond broken) so an A/C that works by Summer would be a gift all by itself and the speed just icing on the cake.

For the Zenith Leader, I'm getting more updated info on: www.marinetraffic.com

That has it past Panama as of 12-25. The vesselfinder site only has info as of 12-20, still in the Atlantic.

Ernsign & Cospringjc, I wish I was on there with you but I'm still sitting on the dock... Hopefully I'll catch a ride soon.

I finally talked to my MA today and she said the ship indeed brought my car, now they should wait until it's released and hopefully I can pick it up next week. More waiting :(

This waiting and waiting depresses me.

Yup, info varies from one site to the following, I think based on how often they pull data from navigation APIs. When I checked it out this morning it hadn't been refreshed until a little bit later.

I don't know if it's the same for all ships or tracking sites, but I was just tracking my MC from the UK to the US, and it appeared that it was ground-based tracking (radar would be my guess) from the ports, not GPS. When it was within a reasonable range of most ports, it would update; when out of range for a port, the tracking would go silent. The only port it docked at where there was no tracking was Brunswick, GA.

In my case, the ship was Athens Highway, and I used marinetraffic.com to track since it didn't require registration.

Rough roh shaggy.

It looks like there is a Longshoremen's strike looming that would "shut down ports from Boston to Houston".

It did arrive I think around midnight 12/25. Waiting for my Countryman to get to the dealer......I thought this tracking and all would be fun....it has given me much anxiety!! My thought, as well, hoping it had not sunk :-)
Seems like the tracking is a day behind. I thought my car had missed the Queen Sapphire on the 12th..found out on the 14th that it made the ship!

Mine was on there too. It was released to the trucking firm yesterday. It's arriving to my dealer today here in the Boston area. One more day I think!

UPDATE: Apparently I can't pick it up until Monday because of some "Certificate of Origin" document that the dealership doesn't have. That is a drag.

Certificate of Origin is essentially the Original title to the car. It looks like a title and it is a critical document for the rest of the titling process among other things. I am surprised it isn't shipped with the car and come to the dealer together. But I do not know what current standard practice is. Enjoy it when you get it.

Kurtster, congratulations you are almost there! What a great way to start the new year! Can't wait to see the pix. I am booked on the Fidelio so I should be driving mine at the end of January! Until then I'll enjoy everyone else's pix!
