Thanks for the quick reply! I hope you're right and they're working hard to get me on the boat. I'm still hoping for good news before Monday. I emailed my MA as well, as MINI told me he knows more than they do about transport (rail and ocean). I thought that strange on the rail part. Oh well.
The next boat doesn't depart until the 26th. 2+ weeks that will surely put me in the mad house!!

 

Tombarra just left Germany with BMWs and Countrymen. Arriving tonight in the UK for our Minis!

 

I've had my production # since 2/5/13, waiting to start production. Patience is key (yeah right), just like the old song "Anticipation is making me wait"!

 

Have they given you a production date? I got my production number on the 7th and my MA said it was set for production the first week of March, but said there was a chance it would move up a couple of weeks once it was marked "sold". ? I guess we will see how it goes. It has not shown up in OL yet.

Crossing all digits in hopes of getting on the Tombarra. I just checked the schedule and as of now, it's leaving on the 10th. This is going to be on a nail biter.

 

well i'm officially on the Manon!!!!! just tracked her, and it finally showed up. she was received at 4:25pm today. so she should be here the 21st. hopefully it won't be too long after that until the dealer gets her, it's only an hour drive from jersey city up here

 

She said with a Psi of relief.

Yeah not that I'm not happy for those showing booked but I am starting to get a bit PISSED OFF at Mini as I am seeing cars from the same factory and even in the same VIN series that were ordered almost a month after mine getting booked yet I see nothing on my VIN...really irritating. If Monday comes and goes without seeing my baby on the ship I may have to unload on Mini to help release the frustration they are adding to. keeping my fingers and toes crossed.

Yep, certainly glad it is a MINI. So much better than the plastic Fiat I have been driving around.

It has Mini Connected which is A LOT of fun to use. My 2006 didn't have any of those options so it is fun to play.

 

Yayy!!! per my MA this baby will arrive at GA port on 22nd!

 

I'd think it would be cool to drive something that is a Mini but a completely different trim as I will be trying to sell my Wife on a CM in the future if possible.

 

Well Quix should make on one of these three ships next week headed to Baltimore.The Honor, Parsifal or Aida. Hoping for Parsifal as it's the fastest.

Anyone notice if the aquired date they list in the cars details in the customer lounge is the date it arrives at you dealer? Just wondering if that is just a guesstimate on their part.

Hi everyone!

Like many of you, I am patiently awaiting the production of my 2013 MC Hardtop. My first Mini was in my hands about 4 weeks after my order was placed. This time around, my car isn't planned for production until about 5 weeks after my order date.

The strange thing is that on 2/5 I called Ask-Mini and they told me my original production date was scheduled for 2/4 (the day before!) but could not explain why it hadn't begun production.

Has anyone else had something like this happen? Should I be worried? I am renting a car (not a Mini), as some of you are doing, making the wait even more painful

I guess we will all get through this together.
