Hi everyone!
Like many of you, I am patiently awaiting the production of my 2013 MC Hardtop. My first Mini was in my hands about 4 weeks after my order was placed. This time around, my car isn't planned for production until about 5 weeks after my order date.
The strange thing is that on 2/5 I called Ask-Mini and they told me my original production date was scheduled for 2/4 (the day before!) but could not explain why it hadn't begun production.
Has anyone else had something like this happen? Should I be worried? I am renting a car (not a Mini), as some of you are doing, making the wait even more painful
I guess we will all get through this together.

Thank you! I sure hope so! As of now, I'm still not getting any results on my VIN. The Tombarra is not quite to port yet. Hoping that's the only reason that I'm not seeing anything yet on my girl being booked/received, etc.

So,I left the country and flew south, hoping the change of scenery would help me pass the time. As much as I'm enjoying Buenos Aires, I continue obsessing over MINIs. I'm on this forum whenever I have WiFi access, I refresh the "track & trace" page whenever I can. The down side is that I can't call Ask-MINI. I've only seen one MINI since I arrived;I'm not sure if that helps or hurts.

BTW When I ordered, Reef Blue was seductively singing the Siren's song, but I decided on Lightning Blue. Then, in the Email confirming the order, I was asked if I wanted to change to Reef. Was that an omen? Maybe I should check my order again.

I don't think you understood my post. I ordered 1/18 and when I spoke with ASK MINI on 2/5 they told me my production date was in the computer as 2/4 but it never started production. So yesterday when I called they told me my production date was 2/25! No one hooked me up!

. I was told that my MINI went into production on the very day my MA put in the order. 
If you get news from ASK MINI that sounds too good (or too bad) to be true, hang up and call back.

So just called Ask MINI and got the word that Oscar is on the way to the port. Last notice was that build was supposed to be done on Mon so gained back a day.
Now to see if I'm going to make the MANOR that leaves tomorrow? Fingers crossed, but not really expecting it to happen.

I thought there weren't any more ships leaving till next weekend? When I checked the site, none of them showed anything until next weekend? Ahhh, I see, it was giving me all the information to go to Baltimore first.
I live in Mississippi, (with my dealer in Baton Rouge) does anyone know which if they are sent to a specific Vehicle Processing Center per regional area, or is it just sent over here, then sent via truck.

My MINI has been loaded!
Woo-hoo, the tracking site now says my MINI has been "loaded on vessel"!
Looks like Tombarra is still at the port, presumably loading even more MINIs, but I'm hoping if I refresh the page often enough that will make it hurry up and head for California...

Your MINI will be unloaded in Brunswick Georgia from what I understand. Then more items added to the car per your order and trucked to your specific dealership for final prep and inspection and released to you!

Running on top of the waves is usually quicker, but I think the ROROs are a little faster than this.

Second, Manon will only be there 1 day. From there it's all out full speed ahead for Halifax, then N.Y., Brunswick, Ga., and then Charleston , S. C.
They have two main routes, one East Coast US, the other Does S.America, and West Coast.

According to the schedule, Tombarra started at Bremerhaven, then skipped Zeebrugge and went straight to Southampton, and is scheduled to go back to Belgium today and on to California tomorrow, but we'll see what direction she turns in about 10 minutes from now!

Well,I didn't make the Tombarra. In so bummed. Waiting at port for two days ahead of time had me hoping I'd catch that ship. Now I get to wait for the Tongala that doesn't leave until the 26th and arrives in CA on or about 3/20.. I'm beyond irritated.
Cheers to two extra weeks added to my wait. It seems like they have ships headed to the east coast a lot more often. What gives?
