I'm trying to find one with Brunswick, GA as the port of discharge along with either a booking number or bill of lading number. I think if you search by that it should bring up all the VIN#'s scheduled for that port of discharge... so far, can't find one.

Now that is heartening, as I am waiting for Brunswick as well. How do you see what vehicles have been loaded on it?

OK it would appear they have paused again. Waiting for the Brunswick GA batch. I never worked on a ship but I'd think it would be like packing a truck with last on, first off and putting one of the last stops on last just seems really strange to me. Maybe this ship loads from one end and unloads from another...

I was told it took 6-8 weeks, so I ordered in December. *shrug* not much I can do really. On the upside, my birthday is on March 15th, so if I can get it before that, I'll be happy still. Just staying upbeat and happy about the entire thing, still love the car, still super excited about it!
I feel your pain prodigal son! Seems you and I are were in a similar boat. My Mini is finally aboard a ship and if I am in luck, I will have her by 4-6th of March.

I too told my MA I needed her quickly as I was in a rental car. It didn't matter though. Order on 11/24 and should get her by 3/4. 14-15 weeks after ordering. The waiting has been the hardest part!

I did talk to my MA yesterday and was told even though the Gentle Leader is docking on 02/27 there is a chance I could het her that weekend (the 1st or 2nd).

I guess Mini Financial cannot bill the dealer for the new car until the car has been delivered and they only do billings at the first of the month for the prior month. He said they will do all they can to get my dealer to take deleivery of my Mini before the end of the month.

Fingers crossed I get her on Friday, March 1st!!!!

There's some vague wording in these categories to be sure.
Thanks, Chris. The girl I spoke to said that they would say that it was 'at the port of exit' if it had been transported. She was confused as to why the auto system was saying it was 'being transported' instead of saying 'awaiting transport' which is apparently where it is in the process. So basically she told me the steps that they use are:
A) Awaiting transport
B) Being transported
C) At the port of exit
I quizzed her on the wording so I was sure I wasn't assuming anything. I wonder if this is protocol or her rendition/understanding of it.
Oh, and I don't look at the OL for anything. My status there still says 'Scheduled for Production'.
Welcome to the Owner's Lounge. Please set your clocks back three weeks.

Good Luck happy to see your wait getting close to having some closure and a lot of fun driving your new Mini. Although I would think most dealers would delay it a little just to push the bill off to the following billing cycle but I'd think your dealer would want their CM back and to get you done 100%.

WTH!

I didn't see any Mini's from Southampton destined for Brunswick GA get put on the ship, Manon! I guess maybe they have some Countryman Minis from Germany for Brunswick otherwise I see no point of that ship even going to Brunswick GA.

I can only hope that they did but the stupid Tack&Trace is behind on updating, although I doubt it. I already changed the dates on my signature this morning as I just wasn't feeling it but was still hopeful.

Very painful now it is going to be a race to get my Mini here before the financing deal expires...what a PITA!

@weaf27, I saw one Mini this morning heading to Brunswick, we may be on the same ship!...whenever that is. Do you have any other sources for tracking other than the WW? I talked to Ask Mini this morning and they told me they have no information once it's in the "transport" mode, that I should talk to my MA (who seems to know nothing).

It could be anything... Keep in mind W&W doesn't just carry MINIs but also BMWs, Jags, and I think Audis... It sucks, I know. But I've got a CM that's been sitting in Bremerhaven for just about a week - I feel your pain...

Yes but those are cars, we are talking about Minis.
(Sorry I couldn't resist as I've never really cared much about any car I've ever owned but I already seem to care a great deal about my Mini and I've never even seen it.)

I didn't even think about other brands being on that ship but I guess I will cross my fingers for Honor or Don Juan but after getting dissed by Manon I will hope for Honor.

No but the next ship shows on Friday, Honor (15th) and then Don Juan (17th) a few days later with both showing up in Brunswick GA on the same day 03/04.

Just frustrated by the wait but more so by the not knowing anything. The land of Limbo always sucks!

EDITED: They have resumed boarding!
Did you make it???? I'm pulling for you. Manon just left the dock.

It loads pretty much any damn way the loadmaster (or what ever the official title is for WW) says it does! Under the authority of the Captain of the ship.

The ROROs have only one ramp to load unload. But are multideck so there is no telling.

Remember these ROROs are HUGE! Multideck monsters that carry little things like front end loaders, dump trucks, and bulldozers. Along with a few cars and or course our MINIs. Search YouTube for "RORO WW" and there are some pretty incredible videos. Just don't freak out when you find the one with all the smashed up BMWs. NOT pretty.

CREVIER MINI of Santa Ana Customer service bites the dust again!

Hey Weaf,
I spoke to my dealer about financing again last week. He assured me that if my order was placed when the .09% interest was being offered, Mini Financial would ABSOULTELY hold up any deal I was told I would be recieving. I told him that some people of the forum were getting different stories and he assured me that the dealer can make it happen. Hopefully you can go back with this information and get them to hold up their end of the bargain. You did not delay the order THEY DID!!

On to a sour note for me. The dealership came and picked up the pretty 2011 CM they were letting me drive and replaced it with a SHITTY, dirty inside and outside loaner vehicle that smells. I cannot believe they gave and then took away. They must have had the loaner dropped off and then just drove it to me, not even bothering to clean the vehicle!

Pretty shitty customer service from Crevier Mini of Santa Ana once again --- something I have grown accustomed to receiving. When my MA dropped off the dirty vehicle, I said, "wow, this car is filthy" - Kirk Larson's response - "Well, I told them to have it ready for me as I was taking it to a customer" and then he got into his vehicle and drove away.

WOW!!!

WOW You'd think with everything they've screwed up they'd have just let this go or maybe if they were worried about miles they would rotate out the car with another or even a off lease car that was nice.

desperate measures: MINI fix in Buenos Aires

So, after a week in Buenos Aires I still hadn't seen a second MINI. I'm wandering around Porto Madera and off in the distance I see what appeared to be a MINI logo. There is a tiny MINI dealership-closed for Carnaval. The small showroom had 4 MINIs artfully wedged inside. And 1 crazy American taking photos outside.

Back in December, I remember thinking; " just order a car already, so you can stop obsessing about it". We all know how well that works.

Maybe the Gilmore Girls will sing "Soft Kitty for you". Sad Panda's are very pitiable.
