Countdown is on for me --- it is 77 degrees already here in So Cal and I have 3 hours until i leave work and head to the dealer. I know he said I couldn't pick her up before 1pm but I am going to get there early and start the paperwork. I wanna get out and drive down the coast and enjoy this awesome day with my music blarring and my top down! oh, life is going to be good today!!!!!!!

 

Didn't spot ANY damaged ones... We did see several of those nice Kite Blue's--and they were wrapped up nicely in the white protective coating-. There were so many MINIs ( and other BMWs) stowwed and ready for the BMW processing center- just enough to make one go bonkers! I was so hoping to get a glimpse of my TITAN, but no luck!

Seriosuly though, I can't concentrate on a single thing. The first of the month is always big for me, closing out my books, distributing profit, minutes, boooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring!!!!!! But stuff that is super time sensitive to my Shareholders but nope, all i want to do is stare at the clock! Sheesh, I am so not earning my keep today I am absolutely uselss! I just want to eat my popcorn and countdown the seconds!

 

PS, you all need to tell me how to upload pictures. Can I do it from my iPhone? I guarantee you, I won't be near a computer for quite awhile today!!!

You'd seriously think that I was having an actual baby today. I had a gift left at my office door --- Congratulations on the birth of your carchild and it's a MINI ballcap. Too flippin funny. My carchild!! LOVE IT!!!

 

Seriously, only 16 minutes have passed. It's only 9:16.........God Good every minue feels like an hour.
I can feel the excitement in my chest, my heart is beating so fast. Wait, maybe that is the 3 cups of espresso I had this morning - now why did I do that to myself!!!

Last night my husband tried to expalin to me that it is just a car. So, how do you all think that conversation went. hahahaha

With all that awesome bling you are putting on that baby your going to need to take a photo before you put it on as once the bling is on if you use a flash it will be nothing but glare.

 

Enjoy the day with your new baby girl GG! I'm happy for you and blknblu and all the others who have patiently waited or shortly waiting for this day to come! Your kid(s), not the MINI though, could probably help you upload the pics if you ever come back home. Live in the moment!

If you've got NAMotoring on your iPhone go to the thread you want to reply to and hit the arrow in the box at the top right

Then press Reply to Thread
In the New Reply page press the little + sign next to New Reply
You'll see Attach from Camera - that flips the camera on for a live picture.
Attach from Photos will show Camera Roll and My Photo Stream

Select either one, then the picture you want to send and wait until it's done updating, the press the Image Attachments and Insert Inline. You won't see the photo but you can select the area above the [ATTACH] line to enter the text. When you're done press Send.

I sent the Blue Coupe from My Photo Stream. Not sure how the live camera works yet...

 

Not sure why some take longer than others at the VDC. I'd like to think that they give priority based on who has been waiting the longest. That would make some sense. But there's any number of possibilities. I imagine a few come from the factory not exactly as ordered, and they need to make a quick change. We ordered ours with the all-season tires and I know sometimes they come from the factory with the summer performance tires on. Living in Seattle, I have never purchased summer tires, though I would certainly want those if I lived in So Cal.

I would imagine it's due to parts that get installed there (some options get installed at the VDC) and also wait times for transporters. I do know that a Priority One car gets bumped to the front (cars that are already sold), but you still need to wait for a full transporter, and then that transporter sometimes goes to a hub/central dealer where it's split up and shipped out on smaller transporters from there.

Least you get to use the Mini Owners Lounge to see updates on your vehicle. I can't since I am taking delivery in Germany. It's only for cars sold in the US Dealerships.

 

The MIni's owner lounge is absolutely useless. My car still says entransit. hahahaha
