Just got an email from my MA that Marron is in fact out to see on the Athens Highway with an arrival date of 3.23 into Brunswick. Its amazing the disconnect throughout the ordering and shipping process but i'm lucky to have a great MA who's on top of things and genuinely seems to care about me and my purchase.
I was hoping you were on a WW Line and that the search worked for you. Now I have to bite my nails 'til my MA informs me on which "luxury liner" my MINI has boarded if she, too, is on a K-Line ship.
Doh!

Right on & congrats to you! You can see your RO RO as it comes through the Panama Canal. They have their own live cameras set up. I was able to capture/track our MINI from the UK all the way to the Port of Hueneme via different AIS tracking systems- neat stuff!

Tex6,
Maybe my daughter can check out your Mini for you as she lives up in Lewisville. She'd be more than happy to give it a test drive, just to make sure everything is all right. Anyway, you and I are close on our guys. Mine is expected into port on 3-21 and pick up from Chicago area dealer on 3-30.

Last night I checked and saw that the Chesapeake Highway was 30 miles off the coast from Virginia Beach, VA, now she's heading up Chesapeake Bay for Baltimore and looks to be a day ahead of schedule! We're getting there!

Fantastic!! I'm still waiting, can you believe. The Paceman launches tomorrow and I have no clue when I'll take delivery. Hopefully they were holding it back for the launch and I get the news today.

I'm going to have to make you my MA!
The schedule was a little confusing although I didn't have much time to really look at it.
By the way everybody, here is a picture of what I'm so anxiously waiting for...

Just be happy it's not a Carnival Cruise Line!

And I just checked and they about to make the turn into the dock with tugs ready to nudge her in. Now just get the stewards working and get them MINIs off the ship so it can head down to Brunswick!

I used to know a stevedore who worked the car docks in Balto., but he's gone to that great boat port in the sky ... so I can't make that call to light a fire under those boys!

Finally
Well this is the best I can do for pictures right now. If you know winter in ND then you'll understand what the car looks like now that it's home. Picked her up and left Minneapolis at 10:00am yesterday. Made it back home to ND at 8:30pm. A little story for all of us that hate our run flat tires(and I'm one of them)...... 10 miles from home last night I picked up a nail and my run flats saved me. Couldn't believe it.......

As promised, pictures!
The night shots are after I installed the black trim around the headlights, the grille, and the taillights. I also put on the JCW side scuttles, and the JCW floor mats - I'll get better pictures of all that in the daylight tomorrow.
This car is an absolute blast! I couldn't be happier.

I already have all the parts sitting in my house to black out the chrome and the lights (Black LED tail lights, side markers and cyclops as well). I can't wait to get it here next month and get the work done.

how does the sports suspension feel on the mn roads? i'm curious to see if its as stiff as the reviewers all whined about. i forgone sports suspension based on what i had heard about stiffness/jarring on potholes.
