Well, mine is finally booked on the Asian King, sailing Apr. 28 and arriving in Halifax May 6.

Anyone else on this ship? After Halifax, it continues on to New York (May 8) and Brunswick, Ga. (May 13).

From what I understand, this means either the ship was full or the car didn't actually make it to the shipping yard in time for the sailing. Either way, it'll be on a different voyage.
Just curious if you have any idea how often Ships are leaving the port with Mini's? The W&W site is still showing my vin associated with the Fedora that sailed on 4/25 but status is still "Returned to Shipper". Do you know if ships are headed out daily, weekly, monthly, etc?

Thanks.

You can actually view the schedules online. This link is to the schedule for ships inbound to North America from Europe: http://sagaweb.2wglobal.com/AppSched...pe=generatePDF

Next ship sailing for Port Hueneme appears to be the Morning Claire on Apr. 30. Hope yours makes that one!

I've been a lurker - but yesterday my Cooper S Cabrio went into production so I figure its time to join in. Mine seems to be taking an extra long time (it might just be my impatience). It was scheduled for production on 4/11 but just went into production. The strange thing is I still can't log into the Owners Lounge. Anyone else having this issue? When I try to register I get a message that says "for a new owner, you're pretty quick on the draw". Is anyone else getting this? I'm dying to get my vin and check that my order is correct.

Use you production number if you have it, that is in the system sooner.

Finally!!

Today I dropped by the dealership to watch my stripes being put on my MINI. Tomorrow my MINI will have an XPEL clear bra applied and then......tomorrow is pick up day!

Oh I can hardly wait, almost 3 months since I ordered the car.

Here's a picture after the front striping was finished.

Yeah, my bifocals aren't that good! LOL!

I'm counting down the days: roughly May 8.

Just got an email from my MA that my car, which I hoped would be on Fedora, is actually on Cronus Leader, an NYK ship that departed Bremerhaven on 4.26 and is on it's way to Southampton before crossing the pond. You might be on it too?

Lucy completed production on the 25th and went to released carrier awaiting transport. So now the fun begins. I lost my MA he went across the street to Porsche dealer. Only good thing is he invited to take the Porsche ultimate driving experience at a local race way in a few weeks. Time to meet my new MA.

Mine's also on the Asian King, but staying on to NYC. Looks like the ship is pulling into Southampton now.

I finally picked up Hilda last night and didn't get out of the dealership till after 8:00 PM. I appreciate the dedication and effort my MA (Mike) put forth throughout the whole process. Pictures to come later in the week after Hilda gets the spa treatment (detail). Initial impressions, this is going to be awesome!

Finally able to register on the owners lounge. Kind of a letdown, not much info on my car, although its nice to be able to check my order, it's right! Expected to be finished May 4th, which is a Saturday and there's a ship scheduled on the 7th. I wonder how the weekend effects getting to South Hampton, getting loaded, etc.

Mine was dropped off at Brunswick Thursday night.

Spoke with my MA yesterday and he said it was already released to the trucking company which means it may deliver Tuesday late or Wednesday! I was expecting another week or two.

He said we can get most of the paperwork done ahead of time if I want to and have time. It is sort of a shock to go from a few weeks to a few days. Now I have to try to get my garage ready. I still have a 5.0L Mustang engine disassembled in there.

It seems like a seven-day-a-week operation. My car left the factory on Friday and was loaded onto the Asian King early this afternoon (Sunday). The ship sailed shortly thereafter from Southampton after picking up 145 Minis to be offloaded at Halifax and 227 destined for New York.

My R60 finished production on the 19th.
Since then I've been watching ship after ship leave Bremerhaven without her on it.
I'm hoping she'll hitch a ride on Mignon (5/2) or Michigan Highway (5/3) and get to Brunswick toward the end of the month

...when I'll be out of the country. :|

Hello everyone,

I had been reading for a while and then decided that its time for me to join...since
the wait and anxiety is more than I can handle...(hopefully sharing them on this
forum will make time go by quicker!)

My Paceman was born on the 24th and is awaiting transport... I hadn't heard from
my MA about which ship mine will be on, yet... I am hoping it is already on board
of one of the ship mentioned here... It was surprising to hear that it is a 7days
operation! I am grateful!! (I am wondering...how often do you guys talk to your
MAs?? I try not to bug him too much...so I usually keep it once or twice a week...)

Ordered

Hello! time to join this group.

On Saturday, we ordered our Countryman S All4. This will be our second MINI. We are replacing our beloved 2005 Cooper S. As our family grew, we outgrew our MINI. We are very excited and can't wait for delivery in late june early July.

The new MINI is scheduled for production in week 18 which is this week.

Here are the specs:

Light White
Black Roof
17" Anthracite Wheels
All Season Runflats
Sport Suspension
Blacked out Xenons with Adaptive
Sport Stripes
Side Stripes
Cold Weather Package
Technology Package
MINI Connected w/ Nav
Premium Package #2
Carbon Black Interior/Seats
Bench Seat
Flat Load Floor
Auto Dim Mirror
Chrome Interior

I do have one question however. My MA said the Owner's Lounge will take a while to show the correct spec of my car, which was the case last time. I vaguely remember from the last time it was the correct model but the options and color were different than my spec. With the new car, when I give it my production number, shows a 2009 Hardtop that has a VIN and says it is at the dealer. The 1800ASKMINI automated has the new one scheduled for production. I'm thinking they must reuse production numbers or this wouldn't show up this way. I was expecting the OL to show a Countryman with different specs that would eventually align with my specs. Any one else experience this?

Same thing happened to me with my roadster. Give it a couple of days, they will catch up. Remember OL is slow with information

Great to know, and Congrats! I'd love to make the ship on the 7th.
